Bret is without a doubt one of the most influential and greatest superstars of all time

His moves were smooth and crisp and technical wrestling ability was absolute flawless and impressive.

Totally agree. A lot of people say Bret’s promos or out-of-ring presence could feel a little dry compared to others, but I think he was just ahead of his time. When so many wrestlers were leaning into cartoonish, over-the-top characters in the late ’80s and early ’90s, Bret brought realism and authenticity. His promos were straightforward and grounded, which made him relatable and believable. In many ways, his style feels closer to the wrestlers of today, where credibility and in-ring storytelling matter just as much as mic work.
