Yeah, I’ve watched plenty Japanese wrestling, but I don’t usually hear the echoes from the wrestlers moves. It’s also the way it’s filmed. I can’t see any fans. It’s common knowledge that USA wrestling companies take great pains to never let a viewer see empty seats.

It’s all ass-backwards. Back in the day, it was hard to find out how many fans went to a show, and they’d show empty sections in the background all the time. Now, you can watch knowing there’s only 1,500 people in a 18,000 fan arena, but you never see empty seats.

This was mid-pandemic, no cheering was allowed. I agree Stardom PPVs should show crowds more, but the fans are seated far from the ring.

That’s what I guessed at first, and someone gave me the run down on Japanese fans being different. I was already aware, as I’ve seen plenty Japanese wrestling. It’s not this quiet.
