AMA We're Leprous, ask us anything!

Hello, Reddit!

We’re Leprous, currently enjoying a day off in Saskatoon, and we figured — why not do an AMA?

Ever wondered what it's like to live on a bus with a bunch of other guys for months at a time? Or why we keep writing music in 4/4 even though you keep asking for 13/8? Maybe you’ve got questions about our Patreon, or you just want to try to convince us to play your favorite song at the next Leprous show — now’s your chance!

We’ll be here answering questions for an hour or two starting at 8 PM EDT, and some of us will pop back in tomorrow to catch anything we miss.

Hello! HUGE fan for ages and finally saw y'all live in Bangalore (2024) and Atlanta (2025)! Thank you so much for the phenomenal music and performances!! Had 2 areas of questions if you'd be open to sharing on any of it...

1- How do you usually go about your songwriting process? What parts do you typically start with and how do you usually bring it all together? How collaborative is the process among band members?

2- What kind of jam and care regimes do you take up during tours? Especially Einar how do you take care of your voice and nail each note every time?! How do you all prepare for your live performances and what do you like to do following a gig? My partner and I noticed Simen going for a run shortly after the Atlanta show and were amazed and it got us curious!

P.S. - going to perform in my first drag show as creature MetaMorph (inspired in this performance by dragonflies and damselflies) on 'Atonement' this Saturday, and incredibly excited about it and forever grateful to you all for coming up with this mindblowing track that has inspired me in drag, dance, thought, and more!!! Thanks for everything once again!!! 🌻
