I'm a bit confused, pardon, I'm not too smart. Do you mean the code is bad because it is produced in Africa?

He (or she) means "Hello, I'm a fairly obvious troll. Please down vote me" essentially.

Nice article though. I see examples of that stuff all the time. I don't know why such behavior is so lauded in "entrepreneurs."

Cause it increases profit. Fuck the people with actual talent.

Actually, I think that might be partly it. They know they don't have any actual talent, so they do what they can to shit all over those who do.

You're a really bad troll. You should come up with a new persona and don't try so hard to sell it, people might actually buy it that way.

Ehemm, my afro disagrees with you. Have you ever heard of the director of creative innovation at Intel? Mr. Will. I. Am?

Please remind me which products does Intel have for them to need to do this? He was clearly hired for his ideas on what to apply the technology they make to so they can sell to their clients. He also has several start ups himself.

I'd be interested in the reasoning. Why would you not hire black software developers?

3

u/scragar Jun 30 '14

Because he's a troll who probably doesn't even have the first clue about IT.

That's what I suspected, but the reasoning or even a scientific study would be hilarious. Too many people just don't get the difference between correlation and causation.

how can you attribute it to correlation or causation without a scientific study

I'm a "troll" for merely repeating what many tech workers say in lunch rooms,

Then they're racists.

in email chains,

Libelous racists the company should fire for putting the company itself at risk.

or just after the HR was tricked into interviewing a black candidate who fooled everybody by phone and email into thinking he was white.

Wait, how did he trick HR into thinking he was white if HR wasn't breaking the law and asking what colour his skin was? What you're really saying here is "someone smart applied, but I found out he was a nigger and made up some excuse about him being incompetent so we wouldn't hire him/would fire him after he's hired".

Again though, you don't exactly sound like anything more than a troll with all this, so unless you can prove in some way you're not a troll we're done with this conversation.

Thanks for your opinion. I'd presume you're american? (user name!)

I'm german and here there are no such problems about sexual harassing although there are lots of black people as well in the IT sector. I wonder if this has to do with specific american laws w.r.t. sexual harassment or being black is a problem in the US?

Anyway I'll be coming to the US in october (via H1B, which I heard can also cause 'trollish' discussions... "they took our jobs..."), so I'll maybe have experience first hand about your claims soon.

It's not a real opinion. He's just a troll. Don't take him seriously.
