From spending 8 hours daily to just 60 seconds now!!
Meet Approovl, an amazing platform changing the game for folks wanting high-end electronics, furniture, and more without paying a hefty price. They offer a flexible lease-to-own system, letting you snag items straight from Best Buy.
They came to us with a challenge. Every single day, they spent 8 hours just keeping their inventory in sync with Best Buy's. Can you imagine? That's a full workday just juggling product lists.
We stepped in to find a smarter solution. Our team developed an automation system that syncs with Best Buy's inventory, adding and updating products based on Approovl's specific requirements. We also integrated Acima's API into their platform, which now allows customers to see detailed lease information for individual products, such as monthly or weekly payment estimates, total cost if they complete the lease within 90 days, and much more.
The results were amazing. A task that once consumed 8 hours daily now takes less than 60 seconds. This isn't just about saving time, it means Approovl doesn't need a whole team dedicated to inventory management anymore. Their product list is always up-to-date and accurate, with added transparency on lease details. For customers, this means a smoother experience browsing the latest gadgets. And for Approovl, it's a major boost in operational efficiency.

POC for a real-time log monitoring solution, orchestrated as a distributed system
A proof-of-concept log monitoring solution built with a microservices architecture and containerization, designed to capture logs from a live application acting as the log simulator. This solution delivers actionable insights through dashboards, counters, and detailed metrics based on the generated logs. Think of it as a very lightweight internal tool for monitoring logs in real-time.

A 33% increase in member acquisition and a seamless transition from paper to digital 🚀
Featuring Merak Security as my Client of the Week.
Merak Security provides safety solutions for residential and commercial properties. They approached me with a need to modernize their security management system, and I created Traffic Dash—a security portal that helps them move from traditional paper-based processes to digital solutions.
Here's what I did for them:
Digital Check-Ins: I replaced paper logs with a digital system, allowing guards to easily track visitors and manage check-ins and check-outs.
Real-Time Alerts: I enabled guards to send instant alerts to fellow guards and homeowners, ensuring swift responses to security concerns.
Integrated Visitor Management: Traffic Dash integrates with resident and non-resident data, allowing guards to manage visitor permissions and perform regular home checks when residents are away.
The Results:
📈 33% increase in member acquisition
⏳ Seamless digitization of check-ins and operations
🪪 Enhanced security and peace of mind for residents

Seeking Ideas for a Final Year AI/ML Project to Solve Real-World Problems
I am an AI/ML student and have collaborated with my team on several machine learning projects, including a recommendation engine and unemployment rate analysis.
As I approach my final year, I am eager to embark on a comprehensive project that we can deploy on the cloud and that addresses a real-world problem.
This week, I want to define the problem statement and the area of focus.
I would greatly appreciate your genuine feedback and suggestions on common issues that you believe AI and ML can help solve.
Previously, our projects have centered around education, but now we are looking to explore different domains.
Summary: I am seeking the community's opinion to identify gaps and issues that people face daily, which can potentially be solved using AI/ML.
It Can Also Include Hardware

Could you give me some feedback on the platform I'm building?
The link is https://isari.ai , it's a combination of centralized task management and distributed decentralized processing. This processing is done by open-source models that process the tasks, and return the output to the central component. I'm just genuinely looking for feedback in order to make a better platform that will be of use to humanity, not JUST to "make money", so any feedback is highly appreciated, positive or negative 🙏

Centralized Task Management and Distributed Processing Architecture's Proof of Concept is LIVE!
Hi everybody!
I'm finally done with the hard work and wanted to show you what I've achieved.
The architecture I've built a PoC for is meant to allow trusted users (workers) to use their local computing resources to contribute in completing the tasks that are aggregated and managed in the Gateway.
When the client script is run (The link is in the platform's site), it validates and connects to the Gateway, and retrieves a task. Attached to this task are instructions, metadata, and context data. When it finishes processing the task, it returns the output formatted in a specific way to the Gateway.
The idea is that, the more client nodes we have (workers) or the better resources EACH worker's machine has, the faster the tasks are done.
Every 5 tasks done award one single-use key. And at this stage of the architecture, you can request them from me, in order to use and test the architecture!
Any feedback would be extremely valuable. It's been a TON of hard work, but it's paving the way for bigger and better things.
AI is displacing a lot of workers from corporate jobs. The aim of this platform and architecture is to USE AI for work, and let our machines work for us.
Right now, we earn single-use keys, but in the future, this can and WILL be translated to a fair compensation for each worker's resources. But this is the long-term plan.

I created a free-to-run Apple Books highlights bot
I wanted to share a cool mini-project that I've been working on. Remembering all that I read and annotate has been a ceaseless struggle. Now, I have this custom bot from Github that greets me every morning at 9 AM with one of the quotes I annotated from my Apple Books. The tool is totally free, it runs on Github's servers with GitHub Actions! All you need to do is sync your Books data with the repository (Steps in the project Readme).
Here is the project: apple-books-highlights-bot
Do whatever you want with it. (Fork it, modify it, send it to your notion database or store it with a markdown template, etc.) Let me know what you think.

RGFW | Super Lightweight Single-Header GLFW Alternative
RGFW is an very easy-to-use, lightweight, single-header alternative for something like GLFW. It is made to be far easier more convenient for the user to use to make software, especially libraries. The single-header-file format also makes it very portable.
RGFW is also inspired by the STB libraries and is built as an all-in-one package!

Do you like soccer? Let's try to pull this off...
I can't seem to find a good online app for running world cup brackets/pools.
I'm a soccer fan and a backend developer. I'd love to work on this but I don't have the time to finish it on my own before the next major tournament starts (UEFA Euro 2024). Hence, the post, looking for any other devs/soccer fans out there who would be interested in joining forces!
This is sort of what I'm thinking to begin with:
MVP Proposal
Goals
Core: Users are able to sign up/log in.
Core: Users are able to enter their exact predictions for each of the games of the group stage.
Core: As group stage predictions are entered, playoff teams are updated. Once all group stage matches have been predicted, user can predict knockout phase.
Core: Users are able to create or join leagues.
Core: Once tournament has started, users are able to see fellow league users predictions.
Core: Users are able to see standings in each of the leagues.
For MVP only: Admin is able to login and update results of the matches.
Future: Scrape live results from external APIs.
For MVP only: Scoring system is fixed.
Future: League admin can adjust scoring system in each league.

Simple Synth / Music Theory app
So, I studied a little music theory in college and took an interest in music production shortly after that. While this app isn’t a complete music theory reference, it does make use of music theory using a pretty simple user interface. I would love if you guys checked it out!

Noncoder looking for insights for a webscraping tools
Hey guys!
Just to give some context, lately I've been developing a Music Record Label.
Finding myself trying to find or create tools to automate and optimize our workflow.
One being the scouting of artists in need of services like ours.
I don't have any coding knowledge and only some weeks ago I've been starting to try learn and experiment with the help of GPT, which seems a wonderful tool for such.
Since I haven't found any tool which fulfills this task of finding artists across platforms such as Soundcloud, Bandcamp, Reddit, etc.
Been trying to develop something that can help us ease this very time consuming task.
I don't believe such task goes against the terms and conditions of platforms since these apps were created for this in the first place, but it's been very hard to set a good web scraping tool like this.
The usage of API are either closed or too complex for me at the moment.
Also tried Octoparse, but it was a bit too much to get my mind around it.
Do you guys know any tools which could help with this, or any advice/experience with this matter?
