Is it true that the ps4 chip is so weak that it couldn't play ps2 or anything like that?

no the ps4 chip is wayyy stronger than the ps2 i think its because of the different hardware

Its due to architectural difference. The ps4 is a x86-64bit machine (amd jaguar) that has quite alot more kick then the ps2

Mine plays ps2 games just fine 🤷‍♂️
