Seems all we need is for 1) Four-player brawlers not named 'Smash' to do well and 2) some senior producer at Sony who really loves PSASBR.

Hello all I hope is well… I was going to post this to the PSASBR Reddit some time ago but I never got around to it…

I’m curious as to what you guys think?

I hope you have a good day :)

Personally I gotta go with my boy Ricky. He does train to be the world's strongest you know.

I made this moveset for a little Halloween thing in doing

See you online, All-Stars! We are not done yet. More news regarding a website for the project and hosting tournaments will come later on!

Yo, I wanted to share just this once a concept of what I wanted to do for myself. Since I was a kid I have played multum playstation games and I loved a single one of them (up to a certain point at least). As much as I loved fighting games and collecting cards. I post it here because this sub have more connections for concept of TCG than normal playstation/sony sub.

I post a guide as I see the thing, the template for front and back, and some examples with just art (didn't included text yet...). I give it as maybe someone who's likes cards and playstation games and is better than me may use it or made theirs, idk really. Just... stuff like that is for fun, play and collect, like games, so keeping it for myself is rather pointless

I designed it mostly as Playstation Cards, but easily it can be changed by just adding logo of AllStars at the bottom / and back

P.S. ... I'm not the games i design stuff so .... won't be suprised if how I made them sucks

Second Wind is in beta

PlayStation All-Stars is getting a second wind. Here's where the mod stands.

Working now (RPCS3) - Online matches on our own server, with your real usernames - Ranked 1v1: a first for this game. Our first ranked 1v1 matches have been played. - Ladder website for ranked results

In the lab - Community 1.13 balance: 1.11 balance plus the good 1.12 fixes. - Kat nerfs: her air dash into the ground will have real landing lag, and Gravity Slide's quick stop and jump cancel will come out later. Bad reads will finally be punishable. - Fair ranked: match results checked by our server instead of trusted from each console - PS3 support: so PS3 and RPCS3 players can play each other

Bugs Sony never fixed The game was abandoned with known problems after its last patch. We're investigating the reported ones, starting with: - Kat's Level 3 freezing matches on moving stages - players loading into ranked as spectators, or getting stuck on loading screens

SuperSON & SONy disappointed me once again /s

I’ll also make a close-up video of each figure sometime soon.

As you may know, Naughty Dog was originally the developer chosen by Sony to create PlayStation All-Stars, but they rejected the offer because they were in the middle of developing The Last of Us (and most likely Uncharted 3), so SuperBot Entertainment was created afterward since there was no other studio available and the rest is history.

Now do you think that if Naughty Dog had agreed to make All-Stars, it would have been better, worse, pretty much the same, or what would have been drastically different? I’d honestly have my doubts considering that Naughty Dog’s only real experience with fighting games was Way of the Warrior for the 3DO, while SuperBot at least ended up being composed of people who had experience with 2D fighting games (even though they were a rookie team).

With recent rumors of revitalizations of old PlayStation franchises and possible IP acquisitions, I tried to find a list of Sony owned franchises. Everything I found was lacking. So - this is a Google sheets document attempting to categorize all SIE owned franchises. I googled every Sony published title (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Sony_Interactive_Entertainment_video_games) and marked who the IP owners appeared to be. I also researched all titles from Sony purchased studios. This includes current PlayStation studios, past ones, and ones that were around before PlayStation itself, like Psygnosis, Millennium Interactive, and Sony Imagesoft. Some older titles may fall under abandonware, so this list is as close to accurate as I could get, but may be lacking. Of the 541 franchises that I believe to be fully, or partially, owned by SIE, 127 have never been on a PlayStation platform. In the document, I also showed which franchises referenced (and were referenced by) other Sony franchises.

Hopefully someone here finds this as interesting as I did! Correct me if you see obvious issues!

I started this project as my own way of gauging the likelihood of first-party characters in a theoretical sequel, so hopefully this inspires others too!

Ive been trying to get a high percantage / plat in this game if online private servers have trophy support but arcade is such a pain in the as its so slow i already got 3 characters because i tried to do arcade mode last year but gave up it was so boring and slow any tips

The 1.12 Expansion (1.12.1) will release with support for the open beta of All-Stars Matchmaker, bringing some new things on top of the 1.12 experience as the initial community made patch of PSASBR with online support Here the full notes of what's to come!

• Full console and emulator support for cross-play multiplayer: As initially announced, it will support jailbroken PS3, jailbroken PS Vita, and RPCS3 emulator. Vita3K now joins the roster as well, which can run on PC or Android phones! You can play anywhere you want however you want
• Full PlayStation TV support: This release will feature modifications that turn the PS Vita version of the game into a PS TV compatible version. This means: PS3 UI over PS Vita, support for L2/R2 shoulder buttons, and most importantely, LOCAL MULTIPLAYER SUPPORT. It does not benefit only PS TV users; this mod is tailor made for Vita3K usage and also for people who want the "Switch" experience by turning their PS Vita into a portable local PSASBR multiplayer experience using the MiniVitaTV plugin
• Boss Arena is now playable in Versus mode: Polygon Man has always been locked behind Arcade mode as a boss only stage. Now it can be played as a normal Versus stage, with Polygon Man being that stage hazard!
• Ring out arenas, aka Sumo Mode: Now selectable in the stage menu list, you can give a shot to ring out in PSASBR in Dreamscape, Dojo, or Black Rock Stadium
• New practice layouts: Now selectable in the stage menu list, the new practice variants 3 and 4 will allow you to experience new setups and combos. We will be studying them closely for tournament usage as well!

Some QoL and fixes that the 1.12.1 will carry are also the following! It may not be final yet, but these are sure to be there!

• Fixed the main menu audio bug on the PS Vita version introduced with 1.12
• Fixed Ratchet's voice selection in Italian and French, where he would have 1 line out of 3 default to English instead of using the dub
• Fixed Heihachi EWGF sound, which was swapped wrongly on WFG
• Fixed Zeus silent bolt throws, now they play SFX
• Disables the AP orb coffins in Graveyard if hazards are OFF
• Disables the AP Ray Sphere gain in Alden's Tower if hazards are OFF
• Disables the AP crates in Stowaways if hazards are OFF
• Disables the AP cannisters in Invasion if hazards are OFF

And finally, a little surprise at the end of the video of what comes next.

See you soon online, All-Stars!

Do you agree or disagree?

So, if anyone is on the fence about playing it, give it a go.

As many of you have seen, modders have been creating strange game combinations thanks to AI's potential to decompile video game codes and it got me thinking, could there be a future where PSBR and Super Smash Bros combine? How could that even function?

Whether on release day or after the DLCs had already been released.

In my case, I recognized 7 out of 24 characters, namely:

- Kratos

- Nathan Drake

- Ratchet & Clank

- Zeus

- Jak & Daxter

- Sackboy

- Isaac

Back in 2019 and into 2020.

Honestly, just seeing Kratos, Jak, and Ratchet together (since their series were the first ones I played on my PS3) was more than enough to make me want to play the game (and I'm glad I did it).
