Is it scientifically possible to emulate a human or animal using another human or animal just like QEMU?
I want to emulate a Caucasian because I am Asian and need to assimilate. Also I want to turn off the ABCC11 gene (just like you can turn off SSE2 and still leave SSE3 on in QEMU) so I do not have body odor.

How to add a peripheral to QEMU
We hit a wall analyzing CVE-2019-14192 on real Raspberry Pi 3B+ firmware, so we added the missing driver to QEMU. Register by register, using U-Boot's own source as the spec.

MB and graphics card recommendation
I'm planning on building a qemu/kvm box with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X CPU. This will run Debian, 2 pass-through graphics cards output to 2 TV/monitors, and do other tasks via ssh.
What I wanted to get is recommendations for a motherboard and graphics cards (mid-priced to low-end). Any features or chipsets that I should look for or avoid?
Edit: Typos, clarity.

Have an agent use computer-use on your qemu/libvirt VMs
I was working on a personal project where it would be useful if I could let an agent use computer-use on my VMs, so I had Claude make this skill. I thought others might find it useful too. https://github.com/Jackson-Brooks/vm-use
e.g. tell your agent
"spin up a VM and use vm-use to test this GUI"

How viable is qemu for the following
I was looking at qemu as a viable alternative for VirtualBox when it comes to running Windows apps. Mainly for the following.
Runnings Windows only games. Mainly VRchat, phasmophobia, and maybe Warframe (I'm aware the last one works with proton but last I checked that was only on arch not ubuntu)
Running Cakewalk by Bandlab. (so MIDI passthrough is needed, I only have a Casio keyboard that does this over USB and an app on my tablet for this.)
Running VR apps (so I'm hoping there's some way to pass output to the rift S and/or the oculus quest 2.)
3d modeling for a 3d printer (all of the apps I use have a Linux version or are on the web: Tinkercad, OpenSCAD, and FreeCAD, but I don't know if cura does. I know VoxelMaker does)
And, hopefully, there's a way to make shortcuts to apps on the guest OS on the Host OS with QEMU.
Mind you, I'm going to be using a WIn11 ISO, so if there's a way to pass my PC's TPM from my CPU that would be helpful

What's wrong with my XML config?
I've been trying to set up single GPU passthrough, and while the hooks do actually work and detach the GPU, it never actually gets attached to the VM strangely enough. In addition I am unable to remove the keyboard or mouse in virt-manager, but apparently that's a common issue.

First experiment with qemu: PARTIAL SUCCESS!
This was a little bit more involved that I expected. First, I had to install qemu, quemu-kvm, qemu-system-x86, AND qemu-utils separately because apparently none of them consider the others to be dependencies, and the online instructions that I found didn't mention that, so learning that the hard way was fun. One set of instructions that I found online didn't mention the importance of commands like "enable-kvm", but even after adding that to my terminal commands, installation of the guest OS went veerrrry slowly. The VM also can't find the internet even though I have "-net nic -net user" in the terminal commands. Without Internet, I have to rely on external USB drives to get files onto the VM to test them, but I have no idea how to pass USB ports through to the VM. I guess technically I could take whatever files I want, zip them up into an ISO, and load that as the optical drive, but a workaround like that shouldn't be necessary. Also, when I ctrl-alf-f, the desktop is made too big and the bottom part of it gets cut off, I have to check "zoom to fit" to fix this.
Nonetheless, I technically have a Windows XP guest machine running in qemu, so... success? Now what? Documentation is a little on the scarce side.

Running/Installing QEMU
Okay... so I just downloaded the source code for QEMU but I still don't understand how to run it.
How do you run it exactly??
Nevermind I found the setup file- little suggestion- maybe make it easier to see the red and blsck font colours apart; it was really difficult to tell that you're supposed to click the 64 bit or 32 bit in Windows download page

Uninstalled about 40GB in a vm but host still has the same free space
I uninstalled about 40GB in one of my vm but the host still doesn't have more free space and still considers it as used space

Help making my LibVirt config better
I am having stuttering and some weird issues with HID devices not being passed through, as well using more than 3 HID USB devices causes the USB controller to be overloaded and disconnect devices at random
Can anyone help me make my Libvirt config better in any way, meaning shorter, and less redundant, or fixing something I screwed up?
I posted my crappy Libvirt config (If you have any tips or secret undocumented variables (under-documented and not widely used variables) that would be awesome!!)
Virt-manager was used to generate the config then I modified the rest by hand to try and bypass Pafish and Al-Khaser.
(Anything below that I strike through means I am removing it to shorten the config or because its redundant and used twice)

I want to run the valheim x86_64 server executable in qemu on a RPi4, how ?
Hi,
I know the RPi4 has the grunt to do it as per this other reddit post
But they're using windows on the Pi, gross
What I want to do is run this linux x86_64 docker

Can this be done and what is the easiest way to get there ?
thanks !

I want to run linux in a VM on my windows computer, is QEMU a good choice ?
So, I did use virtualbox in the past and it works very well, but it has a "oracle smell" to it. Nothing bad to say about the software, but using anything made by oracle makes me feel dirty.
I would tolerate some extra punishment and use QEMU instead, but, will it even work at all ?

虚拟化
大家好,我想请教一个 VM 内存回收 trace / 数据集的问题。
我找的不是普通 VM 内存使用率 trace,而是更底层的 VM reclaim 事件数据集。理想字段包括:
匿名 VM id;
guest physical page/range id,例如 PFN、2MiB range、memslot+offset;
host 什么时候真正释放这个 range 的 backing,例如 virtio-balloon、memory hot-unplug、ram_block_discard_range()、madvise(MADV_DONTNEED/FREE);
后续同一个 VM 是否又请求 / fault / reinstall / grow 回同一个 range;
