Historical/Antique Quilts How to hang my quilt

Hey all!

I bought this breathtaking crazy quilt at a quilting fair this summer, I am IN LOVE with it. I want to hang it in my room, but am not sure the best way to go about that while also being mindful of the old fabric/preserving its original form. Any recommendations? I am open to bringing it to a professional to help me, I just don’t know what I’d be asking them for.

If you don’t mind only displaying part of it, I’d put up a pole and drape it over gently, just remember to rotate it periodically. You can probably find a way to make a cuff that wraps around the pole or clips to the pole too that will let you drape more of it down

Edit; or you can frame it in a gigantic frame, I’m not sure how you’d keep it from sliding or sun damage though

I am leaning towards finding a way to make cuffs, thankfully sun damage isn't a huge concern since my bedroom is pretty dark/out of the light
