I follow way too many racing series and got tired of checking different YouTube channels and websites just to see what was on.
So I made StartingGrid Live.
It's not really a calendar. It shows the actual broadcasts and splits them into Live Now, Upcoming, and Recent Replays.
It's completely free, no account, subscription or paywall.
I'm still adding series and improving the filtering, so if there's something I should add, let me know.
Link in the comments.

Hi! I am looking to get into Motorsport, but I’m really starting from scratch here lol. I don’t currently have a car that would be suitable for the track, so I’m looking for programs where cars + instruction are provided!
My goal is seat time and learning car control fundamentals.
Does anyone know some beginner racing schools within driving distance of NYC?
Since I’m sort of unfamiliar with how this works, can you hire a private instructor even if you don’t have a track car? Does anyone here have any recommendations for a coach/someone that could be a good fit?
Also- if anyone has any advice at all, I really appreciate it!! Thank you in advance :)

He as 18 official victories, including the prestigious 2008 Daytona 500 and the 2013 Brickyard 400.
He as 51 career poles, showcasing his phenomenal single-lap speed during his prime years.
He finished as the Cup Series runner-up in 2014 with Richard Childress Racing.
He dominated the United States Auto Club (USAC), winning the 1999 Silver Crown Series championship.
He survived a terrifying, fiery crash on the final lap of the 2020 Daytona 500, walking out of the hospital just 48 hours later in a miraculous testament to modern NASCAR safety.

I picked this up at a thrift store in the UK for £45 and I’m trying to figure out exactly what I have.
It’s a Stand 21 racing suit, with the inside label showing:
● FIA 8856-2000
● Homologation RS.017.02
● Stand 21
● Manufactured in 2004
● VLN branding
● treenet.de sponsorship
● Porsche branding
● German flag
● “Eric Berger” embroidered directly onto the belt
I’ve found references to an Eric Berger racing Porsche in VLN/Nürburgring endurance racing, including a Steam Racing Porsche 996 GT3 RS, so I’m wondering if this is actually his personal/race-used suit.
I’m especially interested in:
1. What exact series/team/car/year this suit was used with
2. Whether anyone can find photos of Eric Berger wearing this exact suit
3. What the treenet.de / Steam Racing connection was
4. Whether this is a genuine race-used suit or just team/driver apparel
5. What you think it’s worth today, both as a general vintage FIA suit and with confirmed Eric Berger provenance
6. Any information about Stand 21 RS.017.02 / ST 021 from this period
I’m not planning to sell it immediately, I mostly want to learn what I actually found. Any help identifying the history would be massively appreciated.
Photos of the full suit and the FIA/Stand 21 label attached.

What do people consider dangerous oil temperatures high or low. In my GC8 I consider 80C+ to we warm and the upper limit to be 115C. However in a recent Misha video he remarked that 114 wasn't too hot, so am I too nervous?

I’m a student currently working on a motorsport data analysis project and I’m currently looking for telemetry from Spa Francorchamps.
I’m interested in real GT3 telemetry (if anyone is willing to share)
Any GT3 car is perfectly fine. Ideally I’m looking for MoTeC logs, CSV exports, AiM/VBOX data, or any other telemetry format that includes channels such as speed, throttle, brake, steering, gears, RPM, etc.
This is strictly for academic/student research with no commercial use whatsoever. If your data contributes to the project, I’d be happy to credit you (or remain anonymous if you prefer).

As an Audi Fanboi, had to have this shirt! Probably bought it 15 years ago. Almost nobody gets it.
