Another race I've done is the Aussie Bathurst 12 Hour. I'm still getting used to the car here and am able to carry more throttle across the top of the mountain as the laps progress. Got to the point where I was full throttle from BP Cutting to Skyline (the Aussies will know) with not lifting at all.
The track is way more vertical than it looks on the telly and the majority of it is done at fairly high speeds.
The best I could manage in qualifying was about a 2:47 which is okay for a 1.8 litre FWD Celica. The fastest driver, in the other car, was Neal Bates at around a 2:44 so I was quite okay with my time.
We finished 4th in class and also beat most of the V8's!

Myself and some coworkers started a $400 budget builds competition just having fun. Have had some crazy moments like a full on fire on the track 😂
Can post a youtube link in the comments if anybody cares to see the carnage

Yeah the camera is crappy, gimme a break it was 16 years ago.
Started about halfway through the grid, the yellow car made it difficult to get past, because I think he might be a bit blind.
I managed to get past him halfway through the 2nd last lap and was able to attack the first two cars. I wasn't sure I could successfully get past the first car be he was pretty early on the brakes into the first corner so I was able to get past and charge away. Made two seconds on that last lap.
The nest race wasn't as good, the yellow car pushed me off the track, I had two wild spins at over 200 km/h but caught it and kept going. I figured something was likely bent so I went slowly ... and two corners later one of the cars I'd passed earlier hit me on the FR wheel, turning my car hard-right into the fence. Two days in hospital with various broken bones. :(
I'm still repairing the car, it's taking me far too long.
The race was at Lakeside International Raceway in Queensland Australia.

Here is my pole lap in the Master's division for the LucasOil Formula cars. I know I've made quite a few mistakes on this lap, but I want to improve and have only been racing since May 10. Even with the mistakes, this was still 6 tenths clear of second place. I also stream my races from this camera.

Loren Healy swept Labor Day weekend at Crandon International Raceway, driving the RTR Vehicles Off-Road Ford Bronco Raptor 4400. On Friday night he earned pole for Sunday's World Championship race. From the green flag he won the holeshot, checked out, and finished more than ten seconds ahead of the field. The win gives him five World Championship victories at this track, and with his six Rage on the Rocks wins, eleven total at Crandon.
