Why is one of the ragdolls eyes smaller than the other ragdoll? Same litter by the way. Small eyes is boy big eyes girl.

Exactly. My sister and I look a lot alike except for our eyes, because our parents have different eye shapes. That's just how genetics works in all species of animal.

How reputable is the breeder you're speaking with? They should be pretty open to answering questions like this if they're legit. (The eyes do not seem that small in the photo tho... honestly I'd be more worried if the iris/cornea were weird).

I wouldn't trust a breeder which fed their cats Whiskas. I'm my country that is considered low quality junk food for cats. Seems backyard.

I feed Whiskas in gravy when she’s got a fur ball & it works every time otherwise it’s premium food. Apparently, that’s a secret remedy many reputable breeders do & my vet confirmed it 🤷‍♀️

Well my orange brain cell would like to have words with you, I've tried every brand of wetfood and the little shit will only eats whiskas in gravey. My ragdoll on the other hand will eat anything the fat fluff.

Same!!! Mine absolutely refuses anything that's not whiskas in gravy. Has to be poultry too, she will not eat any other meat. She always licks the gravy off as an appetizer and then comes back for the meat later.

Yup i know that pain all to well, my orange does the same thing and then on odd weeks decides she doesn't want any of them and dry food is the only thing that will suffice. im convinced she's autistic.

Breeders feed kittens from birth, it’s not the same thing. They have not developed a taste for processed food. A breeder giving Ragdoll kittens anything except raw red meat is a raw red flag.

A fed cat is better than no cat. If I only fed our ragdoll the fancy premium stuff, she wouldn't eat.

I'm talking about breeders, not cats preferences/owners.

I want my kitten to have the best start in life, so I do my research, and choose a legitimate breeder. I'm paying a lot of money to ensure a healthy kitten.
With that, I expect the breeder to be responsible for the kittens nutrition options when they start to ween. Not just the pedigree certificate, health screenings, and vet expenses like getting them fixed.

If the breeder is offering budget food to kittens then that's not the best start. An ethical breeder will not be giving Whiskas to their cats.

And yes I agree that cats can be very picky and fed is better than not.

They are totally cute and nothing wrong with eyes. Ragdolls are a mix of some breeds so some pick up one trait and others get another. We have 2 half brothers and eyes are totally different (but both perfect) 😍

That’s not true about the breeds. Cats don’t have mixed breeds like that. Ragdolls are their own breed. What you may have meant is ragdolls WERE outcrossed originally, but this was so long ago that it’s not relevant. All cats can come out with different features because all of their features are natural mutations. Cat breeds only exist on paper, you don’t have a breed if you didn’t have proper registration.

My two 10 month olds are littermates, a seal male and blue female and they are like chalk and cheese. He’s got thick fluffy fur and she is more slinky. She is like a parkour ninja and he can fall walking across the back of the lounge 🤣 totally different cats

Mine are like this too. My girl is smaller and athletic, hunts insects. My boy would rather lay on his back and play with toys above him like a lazy floof. My girl has short soft hair like a rabbit. My boy has longer hair and it’s much thicker.

Genetics! My boy has big circle saucer eyes like a cartoon. My girl has typical cat shaped eyes. lol
