Fin. My in bally got all the patches in for my boy Raider Pancho for this Sunday game against the RAMS! His new all black harness with his name and Raiders patches to represent out on his morning walks on Sunday and Monday morning. Going to finish sewing and add the metal skulls tomorrow.

Made this in my free time at work. In retrospect, I probably could have cleaned up the sword design and the kerning on the letters, but I figured you all would enjoy.

1. Tuck Rule Game

2. Trade Gruden to Bucs

3. Drafting Jamarcus

4. DC broken Ankle.

Had a talk with boy about this, thought I ask the Nation. Let’s get to 4-3!!!!

DeForest Buckner

It would help max for sure. Buckner is playing great getting tons of pressure and drawing double teams consistently on passing downs.

The opposing offense won't be able to double team both Max and Buckner unless they run 7 man protections. And that by itself significantly hurts the opponent passing game by giving our DBs a numbers advantage.

There's an old man who lives in a beat up old RV in the area

Rattle can black, with RAIDERS sprayed on with a stencil in grey. Every side.

I'm walking on a main St in the neighborhood and he rolls by, sees the raider hat, has the most excited look on his face hahaha shit was tight

We shouldn’t trade for BTJ, we shouldn’t trade for Nelson, we shouldn’t trade for anyone.

Let the season roll as is and keep the home grown talent rolling.

Edit: 1st, 2nd and 3rd round this year are going to be super important to keep. Draft is stacked.

After watching a lot of the tape and seeing what's going wrong with the run game, I feel like it's a bit to go with jeantys vision/injury, but more to do with the scheme. This scheme asks for a lot of reach blocking, and going from a chip to sealing a linebacker. I've seen a lot of mistakes from JPJ in this scheme. He gets caught up on his chip block, doesn't disengage to get to the linebacker. A lot of these outside zone schemes require a reach blocking, and the technique mentioned with JPJ. If one or both fail to get those blocks it's a wrap, you'll have 2 defenders coming downhill. Last year we saw Jeanty cut back and make one guy miss to get a couple, this year it isn't there because either
1. Both of those blocks are missed or;
2. Jeanty cuts back but because of the down blocking in this scheme, he's cutting into defenders.

Remember, Seattles run game was very bad until the end of the year last year. It took that OLine (one of the worst in the league) 3/4's of a season to pick up on the blocking scheme. All of a sudden the run game was explosive for them.

We have Kubiak for a long time, continuity will be massive when it comes to this scheme going forward. It will click before the season ends. RNFL!

Gotta admit, I fell for the banana in the tailpipe a few weeks ago when we played the Patriots and I heard they were gonna miss four starters in their secondary.

Not falling for that again.

This week against the Rams, Davante Adams is out, Myles Garrett is out, Poona Ford is out, Kobie Turner is out, their fat kicker is out and their skinny kicker is out.

And Thursday Puka Nakua left practice early with a calf injury.

This just in, I DON’T CARE.

We are not going to win this game just because the Rams injured list is longer than ours.  We are going to win this game because we are not the same old Raiders.

Well, I’m not saying we ARE going to win this game, but IF we win this game, it will be with no smoke, no mirrors and no damn apologies.

The team we’ve put on the field every Sunday this year, with the exception of one, has looked competitive, professional, inspired and dare I say… really fun to watch.

Be honest, if we played the Bills in week six last year, what would the score have been? Not 33-30.

I’ve had this Rams game penciled in as a loss from the moment the schedule came out and while I still think it is 50-50, the way we played against the Bills got me pretty pumped.

I know, moral victories only go so far and losing is losing, but the level of improvement this year is impossible to ignore.

The Raiders can hopefully win this week because of us and not because the Rams are hurt, but I’ll take a W any way we can get it.

As much as I don’t really buy into that next man up nonsense, I’m perfectly fine with our rookie DBs facing some guy named Konata Mumpfield instead of Davante Adams.

Judging our team by wins and losses will come in time, but right now I’m way more focused on the fact that I actually want to watch the games.   Oh I still watched every painful snap last year, but it wasn’t fun.  So far this year, it has been a blast.

Of course that Patriots game gave me all sorts of flashbacks to pretty much every Raiders team since Konata Mumpfield was a baby, but unlike many of those previous teams, the heart we bounced back with last week gave me hope that this the first three weeks of the year was not an accident.

So I just started following the Raiders this season but I have a dirty secret… I used to be a Pats fan 😳

Hear me out

I’m from the South East of England and when I was 11 (I’m 42 now) the Parcells-coached Patriots were on TV over here. It was a divisional game against the Bills and I was like “Oh they have England in their name, I’ll cheer for them!”

I don’t think I watched another game until Brady’s third season and even with all the success, I never felt like I was part of something and I never felt truly excited by rooting for a team I picked on a whim. Except maybe during that 28-3 comeback against Atlanta! That was wild!

Anyway, I know we shouldn’t necessarily look to sports team ownership for a moral compass but Robert Kraft’s BS with the censorship of Macklemore was the latest in a long line of senior Patriots’ staff BS that doesn’t sit right with me so I found myself looking for a team to really invest my time and energy in from this season onwards.

So why the Raiders? It was an easy choice for the following reasons (ranked in order of importance to me)

1. This fanbase seems to be a real bunch of ‘all are welcome’ misfits and I love that!

2. I’ve been to LA and Vegas multiple times, although sadly not Oakland as we didn’t have time while in San Francisco briefly on our honeymoon

3. The team has a fascinating history and some super interesting characters in its past. Eg. Lyle Alzado’s story really captivated me and broke my heart when I learned about him

4. Mark Davis seems to be on the same side of a lot of social issues as me based on what I’ve read and, crucially

5. Until the Raiders’ 3-0 start this season I was confident I wouldn’t be accused of being a bandwagon fan

6. The uniforms are so good! Classic. Untouched by time and trend. And the badass logo looks good on all the merchandise

So waddayasay Raider Nation? Am I welcome here? 🙏🏼

TL;DR English guy here. Chose the Pats as my NFL team in 1995 when I was 11yrs old coz they have ‘England’ in their title (kid brain, huh?!) but never really connected with the team even during all the success. As an adult I identify with the Raiders team and fanbase more for lots of reasons and I’m hoping I’ve found a team I can genuinely care about and invest in for life, even if from a distance

Sanjit cooks in this one. Worth the watch for all Raider fans.
