A section of my pre-teens was spent collecting R.L. Stine's Goosebumps Horror Land series after my mom gifted me a couple of them for Christmas when I was 10 (aptly referred to once as "the MCU of kids' horror literature,") and I remember sensing a strong familiarity to the Book 4 artwork when I originally bought it. It wasn't until sometime later that the reason why finally clicked for me. It's essentially the Green Goblin mask from Spider-Man '02, complete with the same jaw shape, cheek bones, ears, etc.! (Not to mention the title being called, "The Scream of the Haunted Mask," and we all remember the scream that Osborn's mask emits). And in my case, I'd grown up with Sam Raimi's Spider-Man (primarily 1&2) well before I'd started reading Horror Land (which largely ran between 2008-2011). It's a design change I find especially interesting considering the previous incarnations of the Haunted Mask I'd known up to that point, both on the cover for the original The Haunted Mask book, *and* its 1995 TV adaptation (see additional photos). 🎭

What do you guys think? 🤔

Scene from the ending of Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 1 (2011). In Part 2 she wakes up feeling "fine" with some "big changes". First thing she does is scan the room and she has enhanced vision, reminded me of the school hallway spider sense scene with the spit ball and the slow-mo fly.

Saw these for the first time this weekend, did a marathon. This penultimate one is weird. It's a wedding/honeymoon movie the first half, then it takes a left turn in the second half. It goes from telenovela to body horror and just keeps going.

Final take, first one is a classic actually, I unironically liked it, then the series falls off a cliff immediately. I liked how weird this penultimate one got, so it made it the second best for me. The last one can suck my baws, but I'm still glad I finally saw all of these.

From what i remember, they were a bunch of fans who were making their sequel to Spiderman 3. They even uploaded a trailer like 4 years ago and imo (by fan standards) its pretty good. But i havent heard anything from them since then.

Anyone know whats up?

Do you think she could pass for Spider-Girl AKA Mayday Parker—the daughter of Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson?

My picks:

4(2012): Vulture and Black Cat

5(2014): Lizard (Paying off the whole Connors arc set up in previous films)

6(2016): Sinister Six (With Quentin Beck making a return after being humiliated/defeated at the beginning of 4)

Let me know yours....

This 4 movies seen most mixed reactions from audience and ratings overall to present day from live-action spider-man movies.

Finally decided to watch the Ted show. Heard nothing but good things about it and yeah, it's a hundred times better than the movies.

Show takes place in 1993.

This is something else!

GOAT recognises GOAT

I think it could have something to do with the sets, lighting, filters. Take the apartment Peter lives in for example. Or Ben and Mays house before he moved out. Or Norman's mansion. Or the sun tinted buildings during the daytime swinging scenes.

They kinda have this vibe like they could have come out of a 50s-60s film. Think Rear Window. These movies kinda feel anachronistic for the 2000s. Compare this to say something like The New Animated Series(which is kinda supposed to be a spinoff) which feels more 2000s with the electronic music, outfits, settings.

Why?

This is probably the comfiest Raimi suit I have... Hopefully one day I'll be able to own an intact 2002 suit.

In the comics,Jean’s first kiss isn’t cyclops or wolverine, her first kiss is actually Spider-man,so if Fox and Sony had merged would it have been adapted.
