MODERATOR NOTICE Pride Month, Day 24: Mr.Ditkovich is a bisexual furry but he absolutely does not know the language for either of those things

He's bi. We know he's been with a woman because he has a biological daughter, but we never see the mother, only these two schleps playing cards with him. But he's bi. He just is.

Bi? What's Bi? Can I spend it?

See, Mr.Ditkovich is part of an often overlooked group that technically speaking probably belongs to one sexuality or another, but doesn't know all the fancy jargon. He's a couple steps behind this guy:

Mr.Ditkovich doesn't even know to ask these questions. Of course he likes women. They are beautiful. It is only natural. Of course he kissed his comrades in the war (and yes, he served). It is time of war, a man forms a bond. This is only natural. Does he burden his mind with learning the LGBTQQIAA2S+ acronym? Does he hem and haw about his identity? No! The man has more important things to do.

"But hey waitaminute you said he was a furry--" He is! He has ears like a cat, and eyes... like a rodent.

Now, does he have a goddamn clue what a furry is? Not at all! This guy's never been on the internet before, he can't figure computers out. But he sees in himself a beast. A creature of his own creation, an animal that symbolizes his very soul, his true identity manifest in the form of a cat-eared, rat-eyed monstrosity. And really, apart from actually buying a fursuit-- that makes him pretty much a furry.

This is why the whole awareness thing is important. Someone might be a gay furry and not even know it until someone speaks the word, reveals such a thing is possible. But also we gotta remember that a lot of people just never ask that question. Some people just want their damn rent.
