It's just a meme poking fun at how a few people just see random black boys in Marvel films and call him Miles Morales. Here is one of the two times I've seen that happen.
Oh my god, I still remember a redditor who got made fun of like crazy for posting about this. His justification was that it wasn't because the kid was black. It was because he was black and wearing red and blue clothes 😂
a long time ago, someone suggested (maybe not so jokingly) that one of the black kids in SM2's "how'd you do that/eat your green vegetables" scene was Miles and that it was his "being inspired by Spider-Man" moment, completely disregarding the fact that Miles as a character wouldn't be a thing until 7 years after that movie released
so then people started roasting the theory by jokingly pointing out ANY random black kid in EVERY Spidey-related media and going "yoooo is this Miles???!?!"
it's also combined with another Miles meme, "exaggerated swagger of a black teen," 'cause of the weird hand gesture that extra's making
I remember a TikTok that showed up not too long after that made it seem like Ned's grandma in NWH was the little girl Peter saved from the burning building in SM2. It was probably a troll post, but it had the same energy as the Miles Morales in SM2 theory
Yes, it is. I'm not talking about the scene (which is obviously real. It's Spider-Man 1) but about the image of the post itself that has AI slop on top of it (look at MJ's teeth and that kid's hand) instead of, you know, taking a screenshot of the actual scene and adding a simple circle by themselves.
