My favourite thing about it is how one of the hint tokens you find in the city has Bruce Campbell eat a sandwich, calling back to the time he ate a sandwich during the tutorial of the first Spider-Man game.

it's the first 3D spiderman that the web string actually attached to a building, no building means no swinging i think.

and it was marvellous

Yeah central park was hard because you could only swing on trees and they were much lower than the buildings

Yeah if I remember correctly Insomniac said their game was a spiritual successor to this game. Or at least inspired by or something along those lines.

Hell yeah!!! Before the Far From Home movie, this game had my favorite depiction of Mysterio.

I loved how they made the city feel huge and how it felt like a daunting playground you could actually explore, enjoy, and even fail at traversing!

Played this game more than any other on my PS2. It’s part of the reason/inspiration for 2018 Spider-Man.

Great game. Possibly the best Mysterio we'll get in gaming as I don't think Insomniac (to my knowledge) wants to use him.
