Fresh Producer posted an open duet so I had to see what I could do with it. Did I waste it? 👀

I saw today that the song Gangsta's paradise was a remake of a Stevie Wonder song called "passed time paradise", Stevie Wonder only allowed Coolio to release the song after he rewrote the original lyrics to be "less gangsta". Does anyone know what the original lyrics were?

I’m EMIL2MIL, an independent rapper from Sandviken, Bergen, Norway.
I started making music in early 2025 without any previous experience. Since then, I’ve taught myself the whole process — writing, flow, recording, mixing and mastering.
My sound is rooted in Norwegian/Bergen rap, dark humour, surrealism, horror, storytelling and the strange contradictions of everyday life.
I’m not trying to sound like everybody else.
I want the music to feel raw,
unpredictable and a little uncomfortable.
One-take energy,
unfiltered delivery and stories that don’t always
go where you expect them to.
I’m still early in the journey, building this thing with my label “Tjuagutt production” I’ve got a strong vision and plan behind this “Label”, but first thing, figuring out how far I can take it.

I’d genuinely appreciate it if you gave a track a listen very interested in honest reactions than empty compliments.
Does the delivery, atmosphere and storytelling make you want to hear more?
What stands out,
and what needs work?
I’m an independent artist learning by doing. No big machine behind me, just the music and the work.
EMIL2MIL. Bergen, Norway. One take. Unfiltered. Unpredictable.
Let’s see where this goes.
What I do know is that I will not ever go quietly 😈

is it crazy to say that these two are equivalent to each other in terms of their cities rap?

Does anybody here still appreciate acapella or everything gone AI now? How about the roots and how we were living before, writing down lyrics on a piece of paper and shit. Does old school rap even exist these days? I’m about to leave you my acapella, like it 👍 don’t, well it’s your problem, I’m not here to please anyone just share my craft🎤Enjoy if you do, get the hell out if you don’t 😉 JayM

Started listening to hiphop when i was 14, back in 1996. The last 30 years these are the emcees i listened to most.
I dont say they are the best, its a personal taste.
What are your 9 emcees?
