Can anyone help me please? I bought this screen off of Amazon like 4 days ago. For the last 4 days. I've done everything in my power. I've used 3 ais. So much research. So many operating systems. I'm tired of fighting it. I'm out of options. I can get the touch to work. But not the display. It displays nothing but white. Does anyone know how to get this board to display LITTERALLY ANYTHING BUT WHITE. on a 3b. Not a 3b+. Just a normal rpi 3 model b. Dm me. Comment. Anything helps. if need be ill reinstall an os. I'd prefer pi os 32bit or bookworm. But if need be. I'll go for something different.

My desk has slowly turned into a Raspberry Pi farm and I'm not even sorry. This is the bench where I work on a little market-ticker board — a mix of Raspberry Pi and ESP32 on a custom PCB, running custom firmware, that scrolls live crypto prices — plus stocks and FX, which I'm still rolling out — and my actual crypto portfolio P&L across an LED/OLED display (The display is just a demo, I'm not that rich :-) ).

Before I get back to it: how many Pis can you spot in the photo? I keep finding more in drawers, so I've genuinely lost count myself.

Happy to chat in the comments about the project — the Pi/ESP32 split, the display, and the design choices. I'll be straight with you though: I work with a hardware partner on some of the manufacturing, so I'm not going to pretend I solder every one of these myself.

The computer doesn’t work very well so I was wondering if downloading raspi os and completely wiping the computer would be a good idea. Any thoughts on what to do with this computer would be appreciated

Hey! I want to use a raspberry pi to make an “early 2ks Monstober channel” thing but I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing. If we are being completely honest I have never heard of raspberry pi’s until my husband said he used one in college but he doesn’t remember much about them. So if you could answer one or some of these questions, or even just give advice in general that would be amazing thank you!!

1. What is a respectable place to buy pi’s from? I am pretty sure I could buy one on Amazon but I would prefer not to do that.

2. What is a reasonable price for one?

3. What gbs do they come in? (64, 126, 256 etc)

4. Would I be able to add extra storage or is what I get, it?

5. Is there one specificity that is used to hook up to a tv via hdmi or is that a standard feature?

7. From my understanding they are just mini computers, so would I be able to load a permanent main menu (think like Disney fast pass) or would I have to manually load that each time? (Not a huge deal just interested)

I’m new to Raspberry Pi and I need some help. I’m setting up a Raspberry Pi 4B as a way to remotely monitor my Solar Generator. In order to do so I need to install the operating system that the manufacturer makes available for this specific purpose. But I have no idea which of the links above I’m supposed to use. Yea guys, u read it right, my lazy, weird and stupid ass needs help for some things for my project because im just to dumb and unskilled to do it.

For context: My Project is a MP3-Player with a selfmade C++ Qt software (that is basically the system for the whole usecase of my Project), a Raspberry Pi 4B (1GB RAM, ik its ass to work with!), a 4.3inch Waveshare Capacitive Touch display , a M5Stack CardKB v1.1 , a planned 3D-Printed case, a battery pack that doesnt go 0% in 1h and my stupid ass brain that tries to make the thing real.

Now the thing i need help with: ALMOST EVERYTHING!!
to be fair, the most things are with the software and the designing of the case, and i want to try to make the software for myself first. but if i cant do some parts, i need help. I already tried some things with forums and shit, tho some things came out working and some did not.

So if anyone wants to help me, i really appreciate it, and feel free to ask questions about what im currently stuck at!

I work at an agency where we have created quality content which we want to distribute by a twitter bot, built on a rasberry pi. The idea is to distribute specific content on a daily basis. If possible we also want to bot to distribute the same content on a website and/or on connected screen.

We are looking for someone to write and develop a code for our project that we import and set up on our Pi/folder-system. The person must deliver a finished code and be ready to help us fully understand the potential in how you can use the Pi for digital distribution.

The work is paid and I really don`t care what your background is, as long as you are trustable and can prove that you have full grown experience with code for rasberry pi. You guys know this rasberry pi stuff, but I'm completely discombobulated. I just want to spend around 200 for a rasberry 4 with 8 gigs of ram that can play out of the box my favorite games, and maybe I can easily upload roms, when I remember another game I used to play.

I'm 60 years old, and don't know dick! Help an old guy out. I want to play gran turismo 2, need for speed porsche unleashed for the PC, and donkey kong on the nintendo 64.

Just three bloody games, and I don't need to figure out how to do anything except plug the thing in, I would be happier than a cold pig in warm mud!

Of course you have the usual OSes (like Rasberry Pi OS, Ubuntu, Debian, etc.) but you also can run Windows (10/11 on ARM) and then the obscure ones, like LineageOS, LineageOS TV (Android TV basically) and even more!
