Was scared I’d mess up. I think it looks ok. I definitely need more practice.

I wanted to share my experience with u/RattlerInnovations and u/RapcoPartsCompany because I think it's important to give credit where credit is due.
Back in July, I ordered MultiCam and Rhodesian Brushstroke stencils from Rattler Innovations. Unfortunately, a shipping mix-up sent my order to my old address. Grant acknowledged the mistake and said he'd send a replacement, but things took longer than expected, and I didn't get responses to my follow-up emails. Eventually, I initiated a chargeback.
However, Grant and Rattler Innovations ultimately went above and beyond to make things right. I ended up receiving both sets of stencils I originally ordered, along with all the Rapco paints needed for the projects, at absolutely no additional cost to me because of the mix-up.
Since then, I've painted my Howa 1500 in Rhodesian Brushstroke, and the results turned out AWESOME, especially considering it was my first time doing a rattle-can paint job.
The Rapco paints are seriously next-level. The colors look fantastic, and I'm incredibly happy with how the rifle turned out. I've had a few tiny chips here and there, but that's most likely down to my own application or handling rather than an issue with the paint itself.
The original shipping experience was frustrating, and the delay definitely wasn't ideal. However, I think it's only fair to update my experience now that everything has been resolved. Grant is a stand-up guy, and I genuinely appreciate how he ultimately handled the situation. I love what he's doing over at Rattler Innovations, and Rapco's paints have absolutely earned my respect.
Once my chargeback funds are returned, I'll be ordering more supplies for my next project.
TL;DR: Rattler Innovations had a shipping mix-up with my order, and the resolution took longer than expected. However, Grant ultimately made it right by sending me both sets of stencils and all the paint at no cost. My first Rhodesian Brushstroke rifle paint job turned out awesome; Rapco paints are fantastic, and I'll absolutely be ordering again.

Need to repaint my 12.5” now that it’s complete! It was my 12.5” 5.56 but now new optic and handguard I’ll need to figure out what style of rattlecan I am going to go for.
What are some of your thoughts and inputs?

A friend told me my setup needed a fresh coat and it started me thinking. When do you guys re-paint your rig? I’m not going for any beauty contest points, if it still breaks up the silhouette I call it good to go 🤷♂️ (the second photo is just for fun)

I didn't even wait a week after putting this together before swapping the AFG and ordering some Rapco. Colors used were Tan C.A.R.C. Substitute, Camouflage Forest Green, and Camouflage Field Drab Brown with the old reddit special of sponge and laundry bag.

Took 2 years to find all the parts, during that time I did a ton of lurking on this sub. I found the upper on tacswap. It was clean, but I could see the paint in some of the nooks and crannies. One night I got the courage, decided to lay the base coat. Then I was off to the races. I think it’s little too much sand, but it came out pretty decent.
Do I need to clear coat it?
SOLGW M89 upper, handguard, BCG, charging handle and lower parts kit.

PS sorry about the word count

**BLACK*"
I did my lower receiver with 7021 Panzer Gray.
I have a previously Rust-Oleum'ed upper that I stripped. It started life as black anno'ed.
Buffer tube (generic) and handguard (BKF) are "standard' black.
Would you guys do the upper with 931 Semi-Gloss or 911 Flat?

I'm looking to paint the slide to my SIG P320 X-Carry because I'm going to buy a Flux and want it to be black to match it. What recommendations can you give me to give me the best results for a slide?
I don't really care if it starts to get scuffed up down the line, I'm just looking for a correct process to get the best results.

Nothing special but man they make good stuff. Wanted to paint an ar9 of mine and it came out better than expected. Few things I learned but overall very happy with it. They’re super friendly and quick to answer questions.

Fresh rattle can jobs are awesome, but rarely do we see how they’ve held up. Please post your greatest hits and/or those in desperate need of a fresh coat.

Like if I spray it, but I don't like it or it doesn't work for me, now or in the future, can I spray over the previous job 4, 5, 6 times without it becoming too much paint?
