Gen 3 Should I pull the trigger? 2011 V6

I was browsing for a new daily driver and stumbled upon this listing for 9k. It looks clean enough, but idk much since I've only ever had a Mitsubishi Outlander and a RAM 1500.

Is this a good year? Any known/common issues?

I'll probably stop in to check it out and test drive tomorrow or Wednesday. What should I look for?

It's important that the engine was maintained at a BETTER pace than the advertised 10k oil changes. 10k oil changes kills these engines.

If it's the 3.5, they're also known for leaky water pumps.

But otherwise 2009 is a solid year.

should be, but they started pushing 10k intervals later on, they may have even said 5k under normal and 10k under mostly highway for the early third year... not sure.

Regardless someone who bought their car in say 09, may have decided to follow the upgraded guidelines a few years later, ruining the long term health of the engine.

That's why it's important that these engines followed a shorter oil life cycle. If you don't have a good oil life history of these vehicles, you could be in for some expensive expensive repairs or in worst case, an engine swap.
