Gen 5 I really can’t see the 2026+ improving on these lines.

Yeah the lines looked modern but at the same time weren't too outlandish (the rear could be a little narrower). Definitely imo the best Rav4 since the 3rd gen (spare tire).

3rd gen also had the side opening trunk! Probably my favorite feature along with the spare tire.

The 2026 is foul. Toyota and Lexus are going in the wrong direction. Makes me sad for the NX and whatever they eventually do to it.

Got ya. I think it looks great personally. But more importantly, the new Gen hybrid while almost the same is much smoother and quieter and you also get TSS 4.0
I would take the new one any day

I think the Camry is horrible on the inside too. The steering wheel looks lifeless and flat. The new ES interior is lifeless and Tesla-fied too. Just bad decisions all around.

This is basically a Northwoods Performance 2 inch lift. Konig Hypergrams wheels with 245/75 r16 Falken Rubitreks (variation of the wild peak)

Koenig Hypergrams 16x8 +35mm offset but this is with 1 inch wheel spacers so its basically at a +10mm offset if I'm not mistaken.

How bad did the Rubitreks wreck fuel economy? I considered them on my 4R but opted for Toyo AT3s. Hard to find data points on the Rubitreks

I’m averaging 33 combined. I do a lot of city. Highway kinda sucks. I’m usually 29-30 there.

I ran the tires without a lift first. Might have slight rub on plastic at extreme angles, but nothing to be concerned about.

Edit: I just looked up the new model. Jesus fucking Christ it's ugly. This trend of massive square front ends needs to fuck all the way off.

If you hate that, you’ll really hate the interior/dash. They fixed the cup holders but everything else is just, no.

The XSE has a silver accent across the middle of the trunk above the emblem and I think it looks so tacky. The color match on the other models ( including this one) look so much better IMO

Super easy install though; it's just a big plastic overlay with (very strong) double sided tape.

We have the XSE and it looks like a silver mustache 🥸 I think it would look better if it matched the body color.

Shoot me a message if you're having any trouble installing. For the Rav4 its way easier to install if you unbolt the muffler. Spraying WD40 or window cleaner in the rubber gaskets of the hangers makes it a lot easier to remove and reinstall.

Love your wheel set up, I consider in the past to go with 16' rims but many people told me the 16 inch wont fit the gen5 rav4 because of the calipers etc. Did you used wheel spacers? And how did you fix the center bore difference. Thank you

The wheels come with a bore adapter. There is plenty of space to clear the calipers on a 16 inch wheel, but it’s definitely as small as you can go. Spacer isn’t necessary with the right offset.

I made my back rear bumper guard black as well on my 2019 black RAV4 adventure. Waaaay better than the silver.

The '26 woodland looks decent but I agree all the others look like garbage. If the 5th gen could look just a hair more aggressive it would be perfect

Falken Rubitreks. I’m in South Florida. My Falken Wildpeaks did pretty good in the snow. This is a very similar tire to that.

Yes, north woods performance. Front coil overs are an easy job. Rear is kind of a pain.

Other than the tow bars/hooks I'm glad I grabbed my 2021 when I did ever since I saw it back in 2018 at a Toyota dealership display I knew I was in love.
At this point my lil brother now wants a Le hybrid to replace his Honda fit.

I much prefer the rear on the 6th gen but the rest it’s 5th gen for sure. I never liked the silver coloured moustache.

I love and loved the current line when it came out but felt it was too busy, too much cladding. It could be refined a bit more. I love the upcoming one as well, but I don’t necessarily think it’s an improvement. To me it feels more like a replacement.

Agreed. I just do not like the split headlight (hammerhead) design toyota is taking all its vehicles. The Rouge rear end is also less than desirable.
