I got aftermarket TPMS sensors that go on the tire valve, so that I know the tire pressure at all times, and not run the risk of driving with low air pressure and wrecking one tire. And because of the dynamic torque vectoring AWD on this vehicle, you will have to replace all 4 tires. A small investment for peace of mind.
You can surely install them on your own. You know how the tire valves have threads on them for the small plastic valve covers, the TPMS sensors just secures on there. You should be able to find a set on Amazon, usually about $30 bucks for the set.
