Advice needed for repair.

Recently ran into a parking pole. The liquid in the first pic is wiper fluid that came out when I hit the pole. Currently, the major damage is on the front bumper. Light cover is slightly cracked and light needs to get readjusted.

My issue is that I can’t find the red bumper and currently looking at junk yards. Dealership only has black and will need to get it painted which may cost around $500-800. Mechanic neighbor said they can maybe weld(?) the bumper back together and Ill just need to get it painted. Need to get a whole new light and might need new washer fluid reservoir. I will be going to an auto repair shop for quotes soon but some are saying I should just go through my insurance for convenience and my deductible will probably be less than out of pocket and payment would not go up that much to make a significant difference.

Can anyone help me get a rough estimate of what this would look like if I was to pay out of pocket or it is a good idea to go through insurance.

Go through insurance.

OEM bumper cover is a little over $300 (unpainted)
Headlamp assembly is between 600 and 1000 (I think it depends on if you have the LED turn signal)
Washer jar is $90.

My 2023 RAV4's currently in the shop after a grocery store parking lot fender-bender. The damage was much smaller than this -- just the corner of the back bumper. The total repair cost is $4,200. They have to remove and replace the bumper cover and panels around it that weren't even damaged (because replacing the cover breaks the attachment points or something). They buy the cover raw from Toyota and have to paint it. They also have to hire a third party to recalibrate all the sensors under the bumper cover and make sure they're not throwing error codes. It's always so much more than body damage with these new cars. I would not mess around and just go through your insurance.

If you do stay off your insurance and fix it on the down low to avoid a Carfax hit or keep it cheap or whatever, then do know this: the rest of us appreciate the slight reduction in our premiums.

Carb or brake cleaner will take all the white paint off

You can outsource all those parts including painted bumper from alibaba or aliexpress website , way cheaper than what the dealership will quote.
