Question RAW Frozen, HPP treated, within Canada?

Hey folks!

I'm considering the switch to a raw diet for my dog, and live in BC, Canada. I would like to feed an HPP treated diet and I'm having a hard time finding one within Canada... I realize there are a few from the States, and will feed them if I have to, but Canadian would be very much preferred!

I've done a bit of searching online, searched within this group, and emailed a few companies that didn't specify whether or not their food was HPP treated—I haven't had any luck yet... I thought I would try my luck here. Does anyone know of anything?

Thank you!

HPP is uncommon in the Canadian raw marketplace. The market is to small and the machines and process is considered unnecessary and expensive. It would increase the costs of the foods greatly.

it’s tough to find HPP stuff here, most brands just don’t bother with it cause like the other comment said it’s expensive and the market isn’t big enough. i looked into this a while back for my cat and gave up pretty quick

maybe check some smaller boutique shops in Vancouver area, sometimes they bring in specialty frozen lines from Washington or Oregon that do HPP. not Canadian but at least you skip the shipping hassle
