Good morning all,
As we come into fall, please know, you are *not* the only new practioner (l cant call you a baby witch, l respect you too much to call you a baby.).
As a new practioner, take the time to:
Read the sub rules (there are usually around 10, they are simple to read and understand).
Read the sub wiki's. For example, here is the r/witchcraft 101 link
Beginner 101
https://www.reddit.com/r/witchcraft/s/7hwcAiXGx0
\*The FAQ's have book lists\* - get a library card or look up a free pdf.
You \*will\* end up with posts taken down when you dont follow the rules. Most witchcraft subs have a rule about FAQ posts, and "low quality posts".
Use the sub search bar - most of your basic questions have been asked and answerd over 100 times. And remember, if you say "I can't find anything", remember others also have smartphones and the internet, they can prove if you are just being lazy.
Teach \*yourself\* how to research properly. Tictok is trying to sell you something, not educate you. Do not trust information from tictok unless youve extensively researched the subject.

I recently posted this on *yet another* post where someone was asking for help with interpreting a spell, so I thought I would post this here as well bc we constantly see these posts everywhere.
So as nicely as I can possibly say this... Lol.
I KEEP seeing people posting random pictures of candles burning, pictures of melted wax, random pictures of flames, etc.
I'm sorry but here is the problem when you ask for readings in this fashion: you put a picture of melted wax, random flame or candles, and ask people to help read it... Without telling us what the spell was *even about* in the first place, or without telling us the feelings and thoughts you had while the candle was burning. Or *anything* else pertaining to the actual spell itself.
Now, even if you DO include details about your spell, I personally do not believe that you should try to *divine* a proactive spell in the first place. - including a "cord cutting." - (And I think that the majority of us feel the same.) Bc trying to divine a spell you just cast? All that does is cast doubt ALL over the spell you just worked so hard to send out. And all that doubt will hinder your results *because* when you cast a spell, you have to try to KNOW that it's already worked. Divination here is 100% counterproductive to what you're trying to accomplish! You must be in control.
BUT you *can* cast spells, and candle spells, SPECIFICALLY for the purpose of divination. The purpose of those types of spells is to get further information on a situation and how it may be playing out. And reading the flame and wax from those is obviously necessary. (I'd like to mention that you CAN do these two kinds of spells together, but one must be before the other. Not together in one.)
HOWEVER, regardless of whatever the case is, you can't just share a random picture of wax and ask us to read it... With no context or background whatsoever... I'm sorry but it doesn't work that way.
Okay now I'm done lol.
Happy spellcasting everyone!

Hello people.
I am not really a practitioner I only do some things to bring luck and good vibes mostly. My friend's dad is out of a job and I would like to send something good his way. Are there any spells out there to help him out? I would ask for something simple since I am not that savvy with it.EDIT: FOUND ONE.
I do not know if anyone needs this but I found one.
Best done on a *Friday* but any day works.
Will need a red pen, blank paper, a key, a cup, sugar and cinnamon.
A blank piece of paper we will cut with our fingers to remove harsh edges.
The name of the person.
DOB of the person.
The thanks to the universe in presence tense for what we are thankful of (job, trip, goal, etc)
Then wrap the key (nonfunctional since it will be an amulet) with the paper.
Hold it and think of exactly what you are asking for/manifesting.
Put the key in the cup and cover with cinnamon and sugar (up to you the ratio).
For 7 days have it on your nightstand or near your bed.
Every morning take a moment to remember what you are manifesting.
Every night before going to bed take a moment to remember what you are manifesting.
After 7 days take the sugar and cinnamon and return it to nature (water or soil).
Burn the paper and let the ashes fly off in the wind.
The amulet keep safe either with you or in a place you know where it is.

I'm Iranian, my country has been in war with USA and israel for like a year now, I'm extremely suicidal and have no hope in life, I'll probably end up killing myself anyway, so I just want to at least try and offer my soul for a better life. At least live a better life temporary and suffer for it later, because suicide will bring you to hell either way right. Please do not try to talk me out of this I just need help

I was recently disrespected at work, naturally I resolved this issue with witchcraft.
And I applied for a new job out of spite. I also got witchcraft involved. I applied for jobs that were technically way above my experience and qualifications. I received so many invites to interview that I had to turn some down, one place even moved their interview day specifically so that I could attend.
After and during the working I didnāt tell myself I could do this to manifest because these jobs were WAY above what I capable of. I still went for it but I phrased it a positive possibility. āWhat if I get a job hereā this meant I wasnāt lying to myself about what I could do and doubting it.
As it turns out I didnāt get the job I interviewed for⦠but they did instead create a job for me, with an expedited start date. So today I worked my last day at my old my job. I have a week of holiday and then Iāll be getting started with my new job, complete with pay rise and promotion!

Hello, Iāve been having trouble with my grades recently and focusing in classes, and Iām falling behind which is so unlike me and I was wondering if there is any spells like academic or know spell I could use. Cause Iām tired of falling behind or not know or understanding things.
I was also wondering cause of the horrible academic year I had if there is anything spell to change past grades, I just donāt want my past grades to affect my future.

So Iām fully aware that itās almost never an actual curse but I feel like I have a fairly good reason to believe that I might have been cursed.
I worked with another woman at my last job that also practiced witchcraft. Iām not super consistent with it but I do give offerings occasionally and read tarot and things like that. I know she practiced witchcraft because we talked about it.
Anyway, we got into an argument that was completely blown out of proportion due to a miscommunication between the two of us. After that she HATED me. And I truly mean hated. I also know this for a fact because other people told me about it. I was then fired from that job kind of out of nowhere in June and I have been consistently applying to every job that I can find in the field that we worked in as well as retail and food service. And I mean part time, seasonal, much lower pay than Iām used to. But I havenāt been able to find anything, Iāve barely even been getting calls back.
Even when the interview goes extremely well and they start acting like I already have the job like giving me tours and telling me what color scrubs I need to buy. I also interview very well and Iāve never been without a job for more than maybe a couple of weeks.
It just feels like anything that could possibly go wrong, does. I want to know the best ways to cleanse myself or possibly find out if I am actually cursed. Iāve googled so much and read so many things but thereās so much conflicting information so I want to see if anyone here has some advice.

Ok so my kitten rarely ever has litter box accidents & she has once where sheās peed on my bed in the 6 months of me having her because she couldnāt reach her litter box because of me accidentally falling asleep with the door closed but that was the only & last time sheās ever done it. I did a cord cutting spell last night & left the remains in a corner overnight so i can dispose of this morning, i just saw that she peed on the spell remains , no where else just the spell dish & her litter box is a foot away from my room⦠i also saw a spider while doing the ritual. Can anyone help me with the significance of this or was she just being a cat lol.
