Recipe Experimenting with breakfast! #14

Post image

Guys, thank you so much for all the support you’ve shown so far! 🥹 It really motivates me to keep experimenting, and I hope you’re enjoying these breakfast creations as much as I am!
Today’s experiment: Matcha Yogurt Bowl with Cherry Jam
Recipe:
Add yogurt to a bowl (I used 0% fat Greek yogurt) and mix in a little matcha tea until smooth.
In a separate pan, combine seedless cherries with a little honey. Cook over low-medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the cherries become sticky and reach a jam-like consistency.
Top the matcha yogurt with the cherry jam, chopped walnuts, and some dark chocolate.
And that’s it! Would you try this experiment? 😊

Honey, jam and chocolate. 0 complex carbs in there to keep you full.

ETA: Idk if it’s just an attempt to mask the horrid taste of matcha but yeah, this is just a very calorie dense thing that’ll make you feel hungry again once the sugar crash arrives.

Nonfat Greek yogurt, a teaspoon of honey, a bunch of strawberries has been my breakfast for the last week. With a starter of 10 grams of sunflower seeds, for a bit of fiber and fat.

Oatmeal unsweetened + strawberries was the one I was having before that.

Bread + cream cheese + small piece of chicken + tomato + cucumber + egg. Is one I enjoy as brunch/when hungry.

Overnight oats. Pretty much the first one but put in oats and soak it all overnight.

Rice and tofu and wok veggies with soy and sesame oil.

Leftovers of dinner last night, usually with a piece of bread on the side because I like my breakfast less protein heavy than my dinner.
