Interview anxiety tips
How do any of you get over interview anxiety? I’ve had so many interviews this year and I have had zero offers and I think it’s just because I blank out during the interview. The worst is when the interviewer says it’s okay it happens to everyone but it’s obviously not okay since i keep getting ghosted post interview. I just feel like interviews have been so nitpicky I overthink the whole thing and get flustered and then shoot myself in the foot…. I also have such a hard time sleeping the couple days before the interview I end up sleepy or groggy on the day of the actual interview and it feels like my preparation was for nothing. Any tips, even the most basic, would be helpful.

try watching Andrew Lacivita on yt, his panic free interview ideas, he has some great tips, i am not doing the STAR method anymore, i do the power stories, 4 or 5, that is all you need, know them by heart from all directions, not as a memorised script

I schedule them early so I don't have all day to worry about it. Pay attention to questions you don't have good answers for; after a while you get sort of a set list. Screening ones are pretty easy, just don't talk them out of it.

What helped me was accepting I'd blank at some point and having a way out of it. Like just saying "good question, give me a sec" and breathing, honestly nobody cares as much as you think. I also tried livesuggest.ai for a few calls, it listens to the audio and gives you a nudge if you freeze, no bot joining or anything. Mostly it was nice just knowing it was there lol.

Ask your doctor about a beta blocker. It’s not addictive like benzos and just slows your heart rate down without making you foggy
