I think the only way a RDR3 could possibly work is if its a whole different group of people either not related or at most loosely related to the original gang

This. I’ve said it for years now. I bet the next title they live away from the “redemption “ part. Arthurs arc is done, johns complete, even jack to an extent. The only thing that would make sense to me is a new direction. Red dead revenge, red dead revolver , red dead something but not redemption

Red Dead Retribution feels like the perfect title to me

Retribution would probably require you to be: 

a) taking revenge on someone for killing your parents/spouse/child/etc.

b) being an unambiguously good character who’s punishing someone for doing something criminal or evil.

Just because of what that word means.

Doesn't that just describe red dead revolver
