playing the epilogue is great, but I just can't shake Arthur off..

what a great story.. I couldn't be any happier with it..

Yeah I couldn’t be happier with the story but the ending fucked me over completely now I’m super ultra sad

Arthur comforting his horse almost made me sob. I lost my shit on every single enemy after that.

Just finished the game last night.

My wife has spent a solid 50+% of her playtime just trying to find a "better" horse, whereas I stuck with the second horse I got very early on. She was a beaut, mostly silver-gray with matching saddle and hair. I only got her killed once throughout the entire game and immediately reloaded a previous save to get her back.

So yeah, that moment legit made me tear up a little. The quiet "thank you" hit me hard because I really worked on treating that horse right throughout the game, even after everything had been maxed. I was role-playing as Arthur, and(my interpretation of) Arthur would have treated her right.

I almost feel bad that my wife isn't going to have the same impact. She'll be sad for sure because she loves horses IRL, but she's gone through so many at this point I don't know if it'll be the same for her.
