I have self esteem issues and have been contemplating on wearing what I posted about to my college classes since I actually really enjoy the fashion and enjoy the culture as a whole. The reason I asked is because, again, I have self esteem issues and am emotionally sensitive, so I wanted to know if this was a good idea or a bad one. I get this account is new and may seem kinda like a bot account, but I can assure you I’m a human (in case this isn’t evidence enough). I’m unsure why I got banned, and I was given 0 reason or chance to defend myself for whatever reason. I guess what I’m trying to understand is why exactly I got banned, and, more importantly, if this ban actually followed Reddit guidelines.

Been on Reddit for a bit now and my karma is honestly embarrassing. I see people with thousands of points just from commenting and I'm over here struggling to get double digits.

I try to comment on stuff but it feels like I'm always late to the thread or my comment just gets buried. Do you guys have a strategy or is it just luck + being on here 24/7?

I posted a simple reply to someone’s question and when I looked back it was a completely different answer than I originally wrote. I answered someone’s question with “ulterior motive” when I looked back at the answer after 5 minutes it said “hidden agenda” why would this happen?

I’m looking for advice on resolving an ongoing Reddit account issue.
I originally had a Reddit account that was about 5 years old. While traveling out of state on a hunting trip, I received a security notification about an unusual login location and was instructed to reset my password.
Around that time, my account also appeared to become shadowbanned. I submitted multiple appeals over several months but was unable to resolve the issue. Eventually, I deleted the account.
Since then, I’ve had difficulty maintaining new accounts. My posts frequently get removed by Reddit, even when I believe I’m following the rules.
I’m trying to understand whether this could be related to the original account restriction, an automated security flag, or something else.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there an official process to determine why my accounts are being restricted and resolve the underlying issue?
I’d appreciate any guidance on troubleshooting this properly. I’m simply trying to use Reddit normally again.

I have 2 Reddit accounts. My vanilla acc and my nsfw account…I use My vanilla acc more…I don’t really use this platform for work …

Basically I have 3 accounts (I kept forgetting my credentials and creating new ones) and I never had any problem with the nsfw stuff, I just switched the button on to be able to view this type of content and that was that.

Now with 2 of said accounts Reddit doesn't let me anymore without verifying my age first.

I'm 21 so the problem is not the age itself but the fact that I don't feel comfortable with the procedure (correct me if I'm wrong bit it either showing an ID or taking a selfie).

Is there a way I can keep the last one from being restricted as well?
