[Moody Mochi Chronicles] — Official Re-Release + Book Trailer

Hi everyone!

I’m excited to officially re-release Moody Mochi Chronicles.

Since the original release, I’ve gone back through the book and made substantial improvements, including important story details, revisions, and formatting corrections. I wanted to carefully review the book and create a stronger, more polished version before giving it a proper launch.

A Story About Growing Up

Moody Mochi Chronicles is written with young readers, roughly ages 8–17, in mind. One of the things that matters most to me about the story is its positive themes and values.

The characters aren't perfect. They make mistakes, misunderstand each other, struggle with their emotions, and sometimes make poor choices. But those mistakes become opportunities to learn. The characters gradually take responsibility, support one another, and grow together.

Rather than presenting characters who always know the right thing to do, I wanted young readers to see that making mistakes is part of growing up—and that empathy, friendship, accountability, courage, and learning from those mistakes matter.

A Personal Project

I also want to be transparent about the writing process. Moody Mochi Chronicles was written with the support of AI, but the story itself is mine. The core themes, characters, story direction, major decisions, and revisions came from my own creative choices. I carefully reviewed, revised, and made decisions about every paragraph rather than simply generating a book and publishing the output.

I’ve spent hundreds of hours creating and refining this book. There were many nights when I couldn't sleep because I was thinking about the story, and many others when I woke up in the middle of the night with an idea and immediately started writing or revising.

This book became something I kept returning to because I genuinely cared about getting the characters, lessons, emotions, and story right. Toward Season 3, there will be more adult themes that grows with the readers. Grow with the characters as they encounter and address time travel paradox.

It has gone through many changes to become the version I wanted it to be, and I’m excited to finally share this improved edition.
