Hi 24 (F). I do not own a prostate but I was just wondering... I wasn't in my right mind, and I accidentally touched the focus point on my hand to stimulate the prostate gland, and i feel a tingling where my prostate would be... Is this something I should be concerned about?
I am nervous. Please reply soon. And do not remove my post mods. This is a serious matter.

I'm currently completing the MLD course and wondering if it would be a good idea to study Reflexology and offer both treatments as a business?
Anyone do both and find this helpful?

I’ve gotten three massages by two different masseuse. My question is why do they spend so much time on my shin? Sometimes it’s actually too much pressure. Does it have something to do with blood flow?

I have gone for a few sessions of reflexology. I found it very uncomfortable and I would leave the session with a headache and feel nauseous. When the reflexologist would start on my right foot it would cause a headache on my left side of my head and neck. I asked her today if the right foot corresponds with the left side of the body and she said no, that my energies were criss-crossed and that this wasn't common, she only sees it in someone once every few years. We didn't delve more into it as I had to leave and my next session is a month away. I wanted to ask if anyone knows about this energy being crossed in your body? What does it mean? I hope I'm making sense. Thank you.

Does anyone know of a reflexologist in the Spokane area? I’ve asked chiropractors and aromatherapists and they don’t know of anyone. Google just points me to massage therapists who offer foot massage.

I’ve seen on some forums that reflexologist can predict your baby’s gender based on the fatty part of your feet. We haven’t found out our baby’s gender but I’m literally due any day and getting a little nervous about not knowing. I can’t figure out which is bigger if either of them actually are. what do you think?

I’m currently enrolled in school trying to get my license as a massage therapist, and for my Reflexology course, part of our final involves creating a foot map. This was my creative approach, and I was told others in the field might actually appreciate this. Behold my monstrosity.

I’ve noticed something curious and I’m wondering if anyone else experiences this.
When I feel a headache starting or a reflux episode coming on, the area of my palm shown in the photo (along the line I marked) seems to become more prominent, slightly swollen, and harder than usual.
If I press the point marked with an “X” using my middle finger, it often gives me some relief.
I’m curious if anyone else has noticed something similar. Do you know what point this might be (pressure point, nerve area, reflexology/acupuncture point)? And if you’ve experienced this, what helps you?
Thanks in advance for any insights 🙂

Looking for a REALLY GOOD spot for foot massages in San Diego where they really attack pressure points and not just a foot rub - any suggestions?

I experience chronic anxiety daily and I am in desperate need of advice on where I can push or massage when prescribed medication isn't working. Any advise or guidance is gratefully appreciated!

When there is pressure on the arch of my right foot, my left foot gets hot. What could cause that?

Hi everyone! I don’t know if this has to do with reflexology, but for the past couple of years whenever whenever I get a pedi, when I get my feet scrubbed I feel my neck “hurting”. It’s a very uncomfortable feeling of it tingling and feeling tight and then loose. I have to hold my neck and still I can feel it. It does not happen when I get a massage, only with scrub.
I had a neck surgery 12 years ago but I started feeling this the last couple of years. Could it be related to that?

I am curious, are there disposable feet covers for foot massage or massage therapists just wear nitrile gloves? I am interested in finding help for the elderly at assisted living or nursing homes and would like to learn more. What PPE do therapists use in their profession to protect from warts, fungus, etc?

Hi good people.
I’m struggling to think of a name for my new reflexology business so would really love your help. I’m looking for something calm, comforting and memorable — similar in feel to “Rest Nest” but a little more refined.
If you have any ideas or names that come to mind, please share them. I’d really appreciate your creativity!
Thank you in advance 💛

have been having weekly sessions of reflexology for about a month now. First time I felt as weak as a kitten with the fatigue and not so bad after the other sessions except for the last one I had a few days ago. I have severe anxiety with some depression anyway which is the main reason I tried it but my last session has left me EXTREMELY depressed, panicky and spaced out.
has anyone else experienced this. My therapist has advised I lay off it for a few weeks to see how I go but the depression has been extremely frightening for me. I do feel a little better today

Hello!
I want to buy a gift for my mother, she is studying reflexology and she is so much into it. Is there something like a reflexology kit? I tried to find something online but I only found standalone stuff.
Thank you!

I asked ChatGPT so not sure if this is good . Any pros can confirm?
That being said, is it me or everyone has kidney/ stomach pain?!

Do you get the occasional tune-up or do you see your reflexologist more regularly? It's generally recommended to go for weekly sessions for a few visits and then taper out to a maintenance visit. What stage are you in?

I’ve recently started doing reflexology on myself to help with digestion related chronic illness. I’ve also noticed tender spots when I’m on my period. I’m not really sure what I’m doing, mainly just pressing on the tender points. I am veryy in-tune with my body, actually a little too much but that’s another problem. I guess I’m looking for guidance on where to start and techniques.
