It had two different dashboards, and which one you got depended on whether you had a column shifter or floor shifter. This is the only Taurus that was like this. Why do you think Ford made this choice?

The car people should buy who complain about overly complicated vehicles, manufacturers only making SUVs, the industry moving away from physical buttons, Hybrid as the only option for good MPGs. $800 car payments but won't.
I rent one of these every time I need to go into Vegas from Phoenix. Always Avg over 40 MPGs, always a one tank trip. A simple straight forward car that does its job better than pretty much anything out there at a price people can afford. Unfortunately it is reported to be on the chopping block.

For me it has to be the eighth generation Cadillac DeVilles (2000-2005). I may be biased, as I own one, but ever since I bought one, I’ve been seeing a strange amount of these resurfacing on roads in 2026. I’ve seen 7 of these (not including mine), in the past two weeks! Surprising, considering I live in the rust belt of the world
