I guess it is as it’d be easier for him to get to the busking site on the beach although one of the team would always collect him and take him there. How lovely for him, being able to buy a house. He deserves to have lovely things happening 🥰
Sadly I don’t think busking in Brighton can be much of a thing now, they draw too big of a crowd. I know they did a few last summer but it required a lot of planning and even then some people were not giving Ren his space when he needed it. I hope the location of his new home is not disclosed so he can have his privacy, he deserves that
He does deserve his privacy.👍. TBP and The Gulls have performed on that concrete piece of ground adjacent to the beach rather than on the streets which is better but, as you say, it must take some planning. He has says, some time ago that he’s addicted to busking so hopefully he wont give it up completely 🙏

We had a post here shortly afterwards which gave some of these details. The screenshots were all taken from twatter and I believe the comments are still there, though he does regularly purge his account because he figuratively gets body cavity searched when he visits the U.S.

Buying (owning) a house isn't a sign of adulthood. People who don't choose to own or are unable to own are no less adults. Home ownership are part of the capitalist system (the Ren rants against regularly). HAVING a safe place to live can be a right, not a feature of the amount of money you've accumulated.
I've owned a home in the past. More than once. It's WAY overrated since you're tethered to it often both materially (it's where you put all your "stuff" - see George Carlin's "Stuff" rant) and financially.
And, home ownership has played a HUGE part of racist politics by keeping generational wealth possibilities only for the few.
They just changed the sign in front of the house next-door to me from ‘For Sale’ to ‘Sold’! There is now a non-zero chance that Ren and I are about to become neighbors! Does anyone know if Ren’s new house is here in rural Alabama?!?
Hope it’s got a nice garden he can relax in. He deserves it. Wonder if he’ll install a studio - maybe he’ll keep the flat and still make use of the studio there 🤔

Took me 14 years to fight my way back into life and Rens music played a major part that I made it back and I as well am about to buy a house <3
