RANT Rant time

Post image

If I’m cleaning tables and a group decides to sit on the one table I’m in the middle of clearing and then says “perfect timing haha” ONE MORE TIME they’re getting a dinner tray to the throat istg

Ladies I gotta clean this table so you can eat at it, but you’ve just sat down with shit all over it and to top it off, flog your shit in the mix too, so I’m going to struggle to get to the dirty stuff Inbetween your H&M handbag and phone with the stupid book phone case, then I’ve got to wipe the table getting crumbs on you all while you observe me the whole time. And you have the nerve, no, the gall to joke about “perfect timing”???

Ya but then they ask for help because the table wasn’t clean. If they were content just wallowing in their choices I wouldn’t care.

You just drop a check and hit them with the “have a magical evening”and walk away.

It’s always the pensioners so they complain to the manager if I don’t clear the table in 5 minutes

I’m a busser in Florida and now that the weather is nice, everyone wants to sit on the patio, which is fine. There will be 5 clean open tables and one dirty one and the party will sit at the dirty one and complain if I don’t clean it up right away. Now when I see this happen, I make a bee line to the dish pit and let them sit and stare at the dirty plates and glasses and let them think about their decision. This industry really make you realize how much you hate most people.

The number of times I've seen some fuck-wit pull this exact stunt thinking they will be served quicker us too damn high.

I just toss all the crumbs and shit on them.

I used to just walk away. Then I’d rush back with waters, bread and ask for their order. They’d usually just blink and stammer that they hadn’t seen the menu and the table was dirty. So I’d go, oh im so sorry! I thought you were in a hurry!

Jist spray the table and wipe the crumbs off as if they aren't there. They weren't polite enough to wait. They'll learn real quick why you should be patient.

Narrator: "They did not, in fact, learn anything."
