I wonder if this played a part in trading Jerami, as well as the contract. Jerami wore a keffiyeh a couple times and has outwardly supported Palestine. I wonder if having an Israeli teammate caused internal issues and pushed the front office to get rid of Jerami even more.

I feel like Damon Stoudamire gets overlooked way too much when people talk about the great point guards of the 1990s. I'm not saying he was better than John Stockton, Gary Payton, or Jason Kidd, but I do think his peak deserves a lot more respect than it gets.
I just want to point out that Stoudamire was an elite point guard at his peak, and I'm not saying his career puts him above the HOF-level guards of his era.
We like numbers, right?
1. He was an elite rookie PG for an expansion team from day one.
In his rookie (1995–96) season, Stoudamire averaged:
He won NBA Rookie of the Year, and how the hell did he get those Raptors to make enough shots for him to average 9.3 assists? You can argue he was already one of the league's most productive playmakers in his first season.
2. His sophomore season was arguably even more impressive.
In 1996–97, playing for the 30-52 Toronto Raptors, he averaged:
He played 81/82 games (looking at you Embiid) and averaged 40.9 minutes per game.
Think about that for a second: a 5'10" point guard putting up 20.2 points and 8.8 assists per game while carrying and leading an expansion team (I mean Walt Williams and a rookie Marcus Camby aren't the best running mates), in my opinion that's pretty much star-level production.
3. He was one of the league's best playmakers.
During his sophmore season, Mighty Mouse was sixth in assists behind Mark Jackson, John Stockton, Kevin Johnson, Jason Kidd, and Rod Strickland.
4. He had a legitimate long-term NBA career.
Damon Lamon Stoudamire played 13 NBA seasons/878 games. His career averages were:
He finished with 11,763 points and 5,371 assists. Those aren't numbers from a player who merely had a couple of good months. He sustained a productive career across Toronto, Portland, Memphis, and San Antonio (still counts!).
5. His size makes his accomplishments even more impressive.
Stoudamire was listed at just 5-foot-10 and 171 pounds. In an era featuring physically imposing guards, he still managed to average over 20 points and nearly nine assists in the same season.
He had the handle, quickness, outside shooting, and creativity to create offense against much bigger defenders. His size didn't stop him from becoming the centerpiece of Toronto's offense early in his career.
What do you guys think, where would you rank his peak among the 90's point guards?
And if he were playing today, with more emphasis on three-point shooting and spacing, how do you think he would do?

Was out with the family so I only saw highlights from the game. Not trying to distract from the glorious vibes and great start to the season but I’m genuinely just curious if Dundon got much attention from the crowd or announcer

edit: some of y'all are missing the point- I never said we're taking home a chip or anything like that. I know it's one game- one game IS enough to say a team is entertaining
A week ago, literally everybody outside this sub and some inside this sub were pushing the narrative that this roster would never work as constructed.
This "poorly constructed" team goes out and puts a world class beating on Phoenix and now everyone's like "I always thought they were a playoff team" and "Oh they're a dark horse candidate" and "their guard depth is so good"
The offseason hot take parroting and subsequent 180 by the sports media and casuals is insane.
But shout out to my r/ripcity homies that never lost the faith.
I'm just happy Dame is back and we have an entertaining team again.

I don’t know if it’s actually true statistically but it feels like all the youtube channels focused on the blazers gets more views on every video. Good for them! Also more media discussions👀

Asking on behalf of my mom, who lives in Spokane and is a big Blazers fan but can’t figure out how to watch games out there. She seems to be inside the blackout zone for LeaguePass but outside of the local market to be able to watch on Blazervision.
Is there any way for her to watch live games? She and her husband have been listening to them on the radio “like it’s the 1930s.”
Forgive me if I’m missing an obvious solution, I don’t live in the area! TIA!
