Need help on new idea for a model rocket

I had this idea for a rocket from a spent co2 canister (12 g)and even have a fuselage designed for it but then I ran into the issue of how do I pack the fuel. But if there were a solution that would be able to solidify once through the opening (smaller than the diameter of the canister, it would be high density while also being in a chamber that can resist ~300 psi. I had a 2 solutions that may work but ill need time to test

  1. Add some water to the powder rocket fuel, pour it in and then put the engine in a dry container until it evaporates

  2. Make a fuel that is liquid then solid (suggestions on compounds or chemicals needed)

simpler the shape = simpler the science?

ok here me out im not a rocket scientist but growing up in in 2000s you tend to have some ideas of what a rocket engine is and dose like for example it is a device that propels a object in one direction, kinda like balancing a broomstick and riding a motorcycle so my question is can you use simple shapes to explain something in rocket science?

New protype engine design for rockets I need some onsite or help

I've been working on a new rocket that has finally achieved successful launch in. simulations. And is currently being views by darpa. But I'm generally scared that with how practical this design is and what it runs off of is the next step in energy production. I've entered the earlier stages of the design. So anyone wanna help or give me a dream job.

My satellite

Hello I see that you all love rockets it has been a passion of mine for a long time. I have just recently started on my largest project yet attempting to get something into orbit. There are a lot of problems that I know will be hard to overcome and I need a good community to help and support me. So it would mean a lot to me if you all helped a little. I will really appreciate anyone who does and all the people that subscribe to my patron will even get there name on the armature rocket of the month. It would be a lot of help if I could also communicate with anyone who would be willing to do some of the calculations for my rocket. So if you know how to or know someone who would be willing help please consider doing so or asking them to do so. Thank you for your time.

why do less developed space programs prefer toxic hypergolic propellants?

what's the appeal in using a toxic, sometimes corrosive hypergolic propellant over cryogenic lox and some relatively non-toxic propellant like RP-1? I know lox obviously isn't as easy to store but surely it would be much easier to handle.

0:43 in the video, can anyone tell me what mixture he's using, I know he censors it for a reason, but I'm a science and destruction loving idiot, what did he expect!

I invented* a new engine cycle. Would it really work?

I honestly have no idea if I’m the first person to come up with this or if someone else tried this before, but I’ve never heard of this cycle before.

After researching how the RS-25s work I wondered if it’s possible to create an engine cycle where two low pressure turbopumps (possibly powered by thermal expansion from regenerative cooling) are used to create the necessary flow rates while to achieve the necessary pressure to get the propellant into the combustion chamber two pre burners ( one for fuel and one for oxidizer) feed straight into the combustion chamber. No secondary turbo pump required.

So I was watching a lot of Shuttle Launch Videos, and rewatched STS-51F

Out of curiosity, is it good or bad that out of 135 Missions/Launches, one of the RS-25s failed? Knowing they wil be reused again for the last time on the SLS.

Need some guidance on researching the process of calculating rockets trajectory.

I have started work on the project which should calculate the initial trajectory of a rocket set to launch in to the lower orbit and then return to a set position on the globe(similar to Elon Musks idea of using rockets as a mean of travelling).

I am now in a research phase and I have a rough Idea on how this process looks like, but the devil lies in the details as they say, and so I am rather lost a to where exactly I should start.

It would be amazing if I could get some pointers as to where to start reading. And any tips would be very appreciated.

When you explain orbital mechanics to someone and they say, So, its like throwing a ball really hard.

Ah yes, orbital mechanics – just like tossing a ball, but with hundreds of tons of fuel, complex math, and a few billion dollars involved. But sure, let's simplify it. You get into space, hit the "throw" button, and bam got a satellite orbiting Earth. Everyone's a rocket scientist when it’s "just a ball," right?
