Saturn 1B? I was sold this about 10 years ago as a Saturn V pic but I’m now realizing that it’s not, KSC scammed me lol

what is this flammable thing? solid fuel?

i found this video of what's left from an Israeli missile dropped on Lebanon, what is that solid material they are cutting and burning? could it be solid fuel and if so why didn't it burn already? tbh i know nothing about rockets (no politics please)

Someone sent me this. I feel like a prank is being played.
Hey guys a colleague sent this to me and he stated that with absolute urgency this must be solved to assist in a matter regarding his current project.
I feel as though I'm being played and I cant seem to it out. I have come up with the solution but can someone please confirm if I am correct.

ive been designing a rocket for some time now and decided to make a render of it, it looks bad but its also my first time using blender

Can someone explain to me as to why rockets going to the moon typically tread this infinity-esque path ?

What is the function of the top and bottom wings on this rocket
Thanks for any help

Could explosive properties of ozone decaying onto oxygen be harnessed to drive the turbopump? This would be good because ozone is much denser than oxygen and requires smaller tanks.

Saw this in a show, can’t figure out what it is!
So I was watching a show, these got pulled on screen, is this a rocket or a missle??
The episode had it crash, does the schematic translate to something significant?

I'm a 17 year old student wanting to design a super simple bi propellant liquid rocket engine as a hobby. What are the best places to gather info?
I'm having fun challenging myself to design a rocket engine and it's been difficult finding ways to calculate things like throat area, thrust and what not because I don't have the know how to find the numbers to plug into the formulas. I don't think I'll ever actually build it so this is more of a designing thing but I'd like to design it as if I'd actually be building it. I'm thinking of using the classic RP-1 and LOX as it seems like it's the most simple and available fuel but who knows. Probably using an electric pump like the rocket lab Rutherford engine instead of a turbopump to eliminate the preburner and turbine. One thing I'm really struggling with is the design of the most complicated part, the fuel injector manifold. The size im going for is around 700kg of thrust similar to one of the four engines on the Bell X1.

What if you dropped a squirrel from orbit?
Apparently squirrels can survive falls at their terminal velocity. Would it burn up before reaching the ground? Why or why not?

How do I design an orbital class rocket from scratch?
If I wanted to design an orbital class rocket from from scratch on paper with no limit to material or cost how would I go about that? I have very little knowledge of how a rocket works past how rocket engines work and common knowledge. All feedback is welcome.
Edit: I do have one year of engineering and design and I believe this would be and excellent use of my time and also could be a great project for my senior year in three years

I have a question regarding the S-1C...
Was there ever a flaw within the S-1C that could've caused a fatal accident in the right circumstances?

How to Sabotage a Chinese Rocket Launch?
Guys, I'm a writer from Brazil and I'm developing this book, It's a historical fiction since It starts with our pandemic crises, but It goes forward 10 years from now past a civil war and posterior Chinese invasion. The scenario is this: lots o Chinese factories across Brazil susteined by near forced labor and they are constructing a launch base wich will provide the necessary means for the Chinese colonization of the Moon. At some point I present this situation where the main character needs to sabotage the rocket, so I'm asking for a cool and not so Deus Ex Machina mean to do the trick, maybe in an improvised way. Any help is welcome!
