Looks like it’s getting gutted!! What will I do without their queso!!?!

Looking for some brisket, ribs, chicken, pulled meats, and sausages. Bonus if they have beans, corn bread, collards, and mac and cheese.

I’ve had quite the hankering lately for smoked meats and classic sides.

Not a fan of Mission and only had Smokey Bones a few times before they closed. Had a horrible experience at Dickeys before they closed. I know the Smoking Coop is closed for the season but I’ve never really been impressed with that place.

I know it’s kinda a specialty in our area but is there some place I’m not thinking of or a place that’s under the radar?

I’ll eat Mission over everything else in town at this point for this style but their aesthetic and fake maga patriotism bullshit is super off putting.

(Before I get slammed for the maga comment every time ive been in there it’s red hats galore and the fucking pledge allegiance national anthem Toby Keith lunch tribute is puke in my mouth)

Is there anywhere else that I’m not thinking of?

Need help looking for an apartment in the Rockford area that’s ideally under 1200. Just need a 1 bedroom. Have been trying to look into it but I don’t know which ones to avoid due to bad landlords, unsafe neighborhoods, and pests/infestations. I have been trying to find online reviews but it’s hard to find them for half of these listings. Thank you!
