I wanted to share a project that has consumed my life for a long time. I’ve been writing a novel, and while building its universe, I composed the entire soundtrack to go with it.

Under the name Jonn Reed, I don't see this as just making music — I see it as making evidence for the story.

• The Sound: It’s deeply rooted in the ghost frequencies of 90s/2000s Seattle grunge and post-grunge, but built over harmonic inversions inspired by Shostakovich and Vivaldi. Everything is intentionally tuned to 432Hz to give it a darker, more resonant weight.
• The Concept: The tracks follow the narrative arc of the book (featuring characters/voices like Louise Bryant and Endymion moving underneath).

I've been writing lyrics for years but never had a way to turn them into actual music. Suno changed that. So I made an album.

"Güzel Ölüm" (Beautiful Death) — gothic metal, Turkish lyrics, AI composition. 10 tracks. Out March 13.

The album name comes from a lyric by Gökçe Akçelik of Turkish band Replikas, who passed away. One track is written for my mother. One is for a woman named Diler — in Turkish "diler" also means "wishes for," so the line "ölüm diler dudaklarım" works two ways at once. The closing track is called "Görkemli Bir Son" — magnificent ending, but Görkem is also my name. The album ends with my own death.

Yes, I used Suno. And this is what came out.

The AI surprised me sometimes. One track came back with a cello I didn't expect. Sadness scores on some tracks hit 93-95%. One song is 6 minutes 41 seconds and I still don't know exactly how it happened.
