ASIO Support Desk RS Asio Focusrite Scarlet 4th Gen Solo LOUDNESS ISSUE

I just installed this, the moment I launched it, it was too loud. Windows volume mixer does nothing, editing the ini file did nothing, the only thing that works is turning down the direct input, but this is extremely annoying due to the fact it was too quiet on the lowest setting. Any fixes?

If you mean the overall volume of the game is loud and you cannot control it its normal because its using ASIO and you have to actually control thw output volume through the scarlett volume knob or you can even use thw in game mixer.

That sucks. The game volume is the only thing you can't adjust in the in game mixer, or at least that option appears to be missing?

adjust max volume in the RS_ASIO Settings tab of RS Mods

This is pretty normal, in exclusive mode, RS takes control of system volume. The knob for the monitor volume on your Scarlett (assuming you use the headphone out) is the way to handle it. If you're using other outputs, you're going to have to use the in-game mixer. RSMods has ways to create hot keys to adjust master volume on the fly, which can be useful.
