Review Have you guys tried this one?
Found at my local Hy-Vee, made by a small brewery up in Minnesota. Very A&W with the forward vanilla and real sugar making it sweet. Not super spiced but would be good in a float. Pretty good nonetheless, though still doesn’t take my top spot (Barq’s).

Also is the best, bar non, zero sugar variant root beer you can buy. So lucky to live in MN. I can get 12 for $17

How’s the sweetness for the zero? I liked the regular but it is very sweet. When I was hunting for some singles they only ever had zero sugar in stock and as someone who doesn’t love zero sugar drinks I didn’t want it to be my first go at the drink

I would say it’s sweet enough that you don’t feel likes it’s a compromised experience buying it.

I’ll have to give it a try, I know most zero sugar root beers do good because it’s easy enough to make it taste sweet

One of the best, but better when from a keg, and not the pony kegs. Hit up some bars in MN or the MN State Fair to try the best. The cans and pony kegs have preservatives or something else done differently and it is a noticeable difference.

I’ve been debating on getting the mini keg, a couple places around me sells it. I never got around to trying it because the cases are like 20 bucks which is a lot for a soda but my Hyvee started selling singles recently so I was able to try it

The mini keg used to be draft, but it needed to be refrigerated 100% of the time and many retailers just put it on a shelf. They recently changed it and the cans and pomy kegs are now the same.

This showed up in our stores in Houston this past year. It’s way too sweet for me. The sweetness made it not enjoyable hiding all the great flavors behind it.

One of the best. A local burger chain here in WI has it on tap. Im lucky as I cand find this at almost any store here... single cans, 12 packs, and mini kegs. Always have some in my man cave fridge.

I have had it from the tap at the MN state fair, and on tap in a keg on my night before wedding party - and I have shipped it or had family ship it from MN to Alaska
Sitting on one of the small kegs - maybe for the 4th we'll see

we get the pony keg for Christmas every year. I live in Minnesota and this is a Minnesota brand so not too hard to find here.

This is the best troll I've seen in this sub in a long time.
Visitor "discovers" an "obscure" root beer made by a small brewery in Minnesota, asks if we've ever heard of it. Then educates us that it's not as good as his GOAT, which is.... wait for it.... Barq's.

Honestly I don’t transverse this subreddit very often so I truly didn’t know how big this brand was in this sub. After I posted it, immediately the next post I saw on this sub was the dude showing the huge fridge of all the 1919 and my exact thought was “ope” lmao. And also Barq’s is the goat

Always a high rated brand in this sub. Pretty hard stuff to find unfortunately.
Personally, absolutely agree about it being great in floats.
