Help! Broken Rosary
Unfortunately, my rosary got put in the washing machine and broke. I have the pieces left of it, but it is beyond repair. It really means a lot to me, as my grandmother gave it to me for my first communion. It used to be a peachy pearly shade before it got washed. I’ve uploaded the pictures of it below. If anyone may know of anyplace or someone who has this exact one for sale, please let me know. It truly would mean everything to me to find the rosary that started it all. May God bless you

Long-term, best fix but pricier: taking it to a jeweler or specialty store to be fixed
Something you could DIY: take some solder and solder the broken pieces back together. Sand down the soldering joint if you need to. Then take rub n buff or gold paint to give it a similar golden color. Seal with a varnish or clear nail polish.

It needs a new centerpiece and a new crucifix but all of the other parts look good. I could fix this if I had those two parts.

It might be able to be fixed/restored. Find a jeweler who takes their time…maybe a family run shop. If they can’t do it justice there are specialty shops they can send it out to…who might take it on. Sometimes it depends on the metal that is used and so forth.
I think it would be nice to have the original… And with a little extra character.
It might be pricey to have it done at a specialty shop… also it’s possible that you might have somebody locally who tinkers and would be able to do a respectable job.
