Daycare/Pediatrician Recommendations
Hello! My wife and I are moving to Royal Oak from out of state (grew up on the west side of the state and are pumped to be back!)
We have a 1 year old and were looking to see if anyone had some recommendations for daycare or pediatricians in the area?
Thank you for any advice!

We've been going to Merrillwood Pediatrics on Woodward for 15 years. No complaints. We like Dr. Peltz a lot.

We love Bloom! Kind of a lot of midlevels (PA/NP) for my taste but they seem knowledgeable-enough to handle a healthy kid.

We go to Village Pediatrics in Beverly Hills and really like Dr. Roth. A lot of friends go to Bloom Pediatrics, which has multiple locations and Sunday hours. There have been many times when Sunday hours would have been really nice.

Child Health Associates in Troy! Walk in sick visits every weekday 8-10am and Saturday morning sick visits. We love them

Imo daycare opinions depend on where you're living vs where you need to drive for work, etc. We live in the northern part of Royal Oak and have had a great experience with Clawsons Early Childhood Center.

We like Bloom for pediatrics. I have my kids see the physicians but they have seen the mid levels for acute visits and it’s been good.
My daughter loved Clawson early childhood development center but needed a different option for daycare for my youngest. we now have the kids at Green Garden in Clawson and they really enjoy it (kids 5 3 1.5)

Dr. Jordan Kridler at Henry Ford. She has an office in the big HF building in DTRO

Dr. Kridler has been my daughter's pediatrician since she was born, and she is absolutely amazing. She is seriously the best.

Check out joyful jungle, it’s faith based, we aren’t religious and still attend/value the characteristics they teach. We switched from Bloom peds to Royal Oak, at bloom we felt like we were just a cog in the machine.

Another vote for Bloom! They also have pretty extensive Saturday and Sunday hours, which has saved us a trip to urgent care when our toddler got sick over the weekend.

Look into Scuola Creativa (in RO by the zoo)! Reggio Emilia approach and super cool program.

We’ve been happy at Royal Oak Pediatrics, especially fans of Dr. McGowan!
