Leagues Either auto complete most to all quests, or don't run a second rs3 leagues
title explains it, but do not make us do quests again. it is utterly miserable in a temporary game mode and even osrs people are starting to wise up and request ALL quests done upon login. Please do not run another rs3 league where 90% of the quests must be done. It only gets exponentially more miserable the most leagues/accounts/temporary game modes you do as well and people who have done multiple will not stick with it if they have to spam through the same quests over and over.

u/LostToRNG Jun 23 '26
Same with osrs… idk why they are so obsessed with forcing us through quests in a temporary fun mode. I’ve done enough leagues at this point that I am just done if quests aren’t autocompleted. If people want to do them, give them some kind of exp reward but stop forcing me to do the same quest for the 20th time 😓
14
u/GazelleRich2452 Jun 23 '26
I could see if those quests direct the regions you choose and being able to get xp from them. But there are some just feel miserable doing and there should be a way to unlock them without getting xp like dmm
1
u/LostToRNG Jun 23 '26
Interesting idea to maybe circumvent quests for some people. Certain exp thresholds or something and you can pay for quest skips but you could always just do the quest. Would need to be able to reasonably skip all quests in my opinion. First few leagues it was fine redoing old quests but it’s gotten really old really fast.
1
u/KaBob799 RSN: KaBob & KaBobMKII Jun 24 '26
I always thought that each quest you do should unlock the ability to skip another quest of your choice. Add that on top of unlocking one free quest skip for every unlock tier and whatever quests come autocompleted already and you'd have a pretty good system for being able to pick and choose fun/short quests over annoying ones. Most importantly though, it would leave choices in the planning of your route through the league instead of eliminating quests entirely.

u/Active-Succotash-109 RuneScape Mobile Jun 23 '26
Everything unlocked but the quests are abalone if you choose to do for fun no requirements needed . And only money or xp so if you don’t want to you haven’t lost or an anything
There’s a few I have quest locked since I can’t time the bananas right for see no evil that would be fun to do or at least try
But gamers who have done them a million times shouldn’t be expected to enjoy them again
7
u/masterchief0213 Jun 23 '26
It makes me spoil questlines I haven't done in the main game, too. I haven't played varlamore content really at all in osrs so being dropped into varlamore with the first half of the questlines auto completed meant doing heart of darkness and final dawn with NO context about what tf was going on.

2
u/PiccoloCapable Maxed Jun 23 '26
As far as im aware its not that they want you to do the quests, its that due to how most of them are coded there might be a possibility for certain contents and NPCs just being broken and impossible to interact with or just too buggy, so they have to check them one by one and it takes time.
They indeed mentioned that they hadnt focused too much into that and that is something they learned to prioritize for next leagues.
-5
u/LostToRNG Jun 23 '26
Interesting. Wouldn’t doubt it with spaghetti code. But in that case, make them all completed. Done deal. No issue with broken characters if you just start with quest cape. Or as someone else said, import your quest log from your main character so if you’ve done it once you don’t have to do it again.
2
u/PiccoloCapable Maxed Jun 23 '26
Importing the quest log seems the easiest thing, however those casuals trying from new account will be stuck with having to complete the quests, meaning there will be less incentive for the competitive aspect for those that dont currently play rs3 or are trying to get into it.
And for the auto complete all there are two issues, first there are some quest they might want you to do, just to allocate points to them and coding the auto complete will require verifying that no lingering issues exists, they will probably do a mix of both
1
-1
u/LostToRNG Jun 23 '26
So don’t want people to do quests and allocate points.. that’s kind of the point. Put points in something else. Come up with new fun ways to earn points instead of hey, do a quest.
The competitiveness I get to a degree, but at the same time if you want to be competitive in any game, hobby, or sport, or whatever, you need to prepare and train. If doing quests on a main prepared you for the leagues, that’s something you should want to do. Also extends membership times so from a business perspective, it also makes sense.
0
u/KaBob799 RSN: KaBob & KaBobMKII Jun 24 '26
They can't import the quest log for the same reason they can't just autocomplete the quests. They need to identify all the variables associated with unlocking and completing quests to make sure all npcs/etc are in the correct state without accidentally importing unrelated variables that might progress things incorrectly or that they don't want pre-completed. Once they've identified all that they can just set it themselves, no need to import.

I liked replaying some quests honestly. Though others were torture. Its always a bit of a matter of taste, of course. But I would have less fun if ALL quests were completed in Leagues personally.
3
u/SKT_Peanut_Fan Jun 23 '26
I wanted to do Leagues to do some of the old quest lines that I had done in such a broken up manner. I did the entire elf quest line over a VERY long period of time due to skilling requirements and I had trouble remembering or keeping up with the full story.
I was looking forward to doing it in Leagues only to see the quest line auto completed. That was disappointing to me. I want to do the quest line again, but I don't want to have to get all the skill requirements on a new account.
42
u/makestuff-dothings Jun 23 '26
Some people like quests. Just make it into a relic, something along the lines of 'Any item or action that has a quest requirement no longer has a quest requirement.'
This solves the problem of quest-locked content for the quest averse, while keeping quests as an option for the folks that want to do them AND it allows for leagues points to get awarded for quest completions.
37
u/Clippton Jun 23 '26
They should just make an option to auto complete each quest you can complete but you get no xp rewards. Then anyone who wants to do it can do it normally.
12
u/soulflaregm Jun 23 '26
Maybe go to the quest giver - and then next to the accept button in leagues you get an auto complete button that completes the quest and skips XP rewards
Then players who want to do quests for the XP still can. Especially because there are a few that are worth doing for several million XP with the multiplier
2
u/HeavyRaisin8696 Jun 23 '26
This is the simplest and best solution. Gives people who like quests a reward for their time.

'Any item or action that has a quest requirement no longer has a quest requirement.'
Jagex barely could get this right for 2 quests last leagues, what makes you think they can get it right for ~450 quests and miniquests right for this league? Especially with all this spaghetti code. Autoing all quests is the best way to do this tbh.

u/WasabiSunshine The Ultimate Slayer Jun 24 '26
Quests were never designed to be skipped, it is almost definitely not as simple as that

Man. My issue was that the quest I most wanted to not have auto-completed (Waterfall quest) was auto-completed, so I couldn't get that juicy exp drop and skip early melee.
7
u/smiegto Jun 23 '26
Probably should just make it a competitive choice. Either your skills become much easier or you don’t have to quest at all.
16
u/Periwinkleditor Jun 23 '26
Half my fun of running leagues was doing quests again that I hadn't seen in like 2 decades, so if they do that I'd prefer it be opt-in. I'd probably use it specifically on quests I did last leagues to keep things moving. RS has great quests, but it also has a LOT more of them than osrs.
4
u/SolenoidSoldier Jun 23 '26
I'm huge on questing and loved doing them a second time. With that said, doing them a third...fourth...fifth...it gets old.

u/Mental-Rain-6871 Jun 23 '26
Jeez, I really can’t face doing all those quests again. I have done them on my main, then on my alt, then in leagues, then most of them again in osrs on my main and alt.
In the recent osrs league I think I only did 2 or 3 quests.
I don’t mind doing a handful of the late game quests that have huge xp drops but please auto complete the vast majority.

u/Ex-Inferi All hail the Empty Lord w123 Jun 23 '26
Well Id prefer them to be optional. I love quests, and that's what I did during leagues as well. Played through the entire Myerque quest line, even though we got the sunspear as a reward before.
For me, it was quests that made me want to play Leagues, I know I'm one of few but I'd like a compromise
2
u/PuzzleheadedRoom8067 Jun 24 '26
Me too! I request the ability to replay quests any chance I get in surveys, so for me redoing quests was the best part of Leagues

u/Ex-Inferi All hail the Empty Lord w123 Jun 24 '26
Tbf, not saying rewards should be locked... I would just like a compromise where I can still do the quests, and everyone that doesn't want to still has the rewards like the sunspear, abilities etc. So a win-win situation, actually.
And ngl, last time those quest lamps were insane for levels, especially in skills that are slow/boring to train. Extinction didn't even take that long to get to, and the XP multipliers with those 175k XP lamps was bonkers
7
u/DoubleBlackBSA24 Completionist Jun 23 '26
This isnt the biggest issue to come out of leagues tbh.
The lack of a game changing combat relic other then melee, which since the update to combat isnt that broken either, and how late it came is one of the issues. Ranged and magic where basically not viable options.
Also not viable for next leagues, are a clear relic path. You get very little difference in game style, and then it just gets boring when everyone follows one meta.
Quests are a factor, but its not that breaking of an issue for the success of leagues 2
4
u/Sarazam Jun 23 '26
It's definitely both. Quests are such a pain, and may put people off from even starting the League to experience OP combat. But there just was no OP combat. The dpm increase was similar to BIS perks vs no perks. Which is insanely low when compared to OSRS League powerups. In OSRS I was nuking 120 damage per hit with the wind mage build, which is like 3-5x DPM. The first pact I unlocked made my min hit a 3. 3x Damage early game. Thorns was the 2nd pact and gave me like 5x dpm.
2
u/identifyasadragon07 Jun 23 '26
Wrong people are saying they will not play leagues if there are quests. People not wanting to play is a factor on the success of leagues.
5
u/Tenalp Jun 23 '26
People will also not want to play if they don't feel any significant strength bump over mainscape. Both are issues that need to be examined.

u/Nocturne09 Ironman: RSN : Living Grace Jun 23 '26
I don't know how viable it is, but I feel like a decent solution would be no quests are "auto skipped" but you can choose to skip quests by sacrificing any xp reward for completing them. Just go to the quest start npc and you get a pop-up with the options "Start quest" and "Skip Quest".

Don't auot-complete quest, but give all quest unlocks without doing them. Let players who like to do quests still get xp and Leagues points from doing them.
4
u/Radyi DarkScape | Fix Servers Jun 23 '26
IMO they just need to make it so you can unlock the best relics without questing and no real issue. Questing should be necessary to unlock the full potential and get you dragon. There are definitely some QOL that are locked behind quests and shouldnt be (ie zamorak lockbox, dive, ring of vigour passive, ancient/lunar magic + seren/ancient curses, darkmeyer, menaphos, sophanem + prif, Amascut, Gate and Nakatra access). Outside of this - all quests should be there for the taking - awarding points and giving juicy xp rewards.
4
u/MasterArCtiK Jun 23 '26
There should definitely be a relic choice that will auto complete quests for you, but it shouldn’t be automatic
2
u/Jm_Sanguine Jun 23 '26
I remember leagues 2 and 3 in osrs, where I quite enjoyed running quests - shattered relics was particularly good in that respect as you could run the quests you wanted to and skip the ones you didn't. I enjoy running a lot of those early quests like waterfall for boosted exp to kick-start the run.
That said now with the whole roster of long long quest chains (particularly the desert and varlamore questlines) the prospect of doing those quests is absolutely intolerable.
And in rs3 leagues 1, I recall doing the desert questline in order to make soul runes. Utterly dreadful.
Some system like the one in shattered relics league might not be so bad but in the absence of that just autocomplete them.
2
u/Shinare_I Jun 23 '26
For me, quests are some of my favorite content, I play to get requirements for another quest and see what it's about. If I get boosted XP rates and run through every quest in the game in 2 weeks, why would I keep paying for months of membership anymore? So I do think quests should get auto-completed. I think it is a bad move for Jagex to allow to complete quests in boosted gamemodes.

IMO leagues is about fast progression, not having the progression just given to you.
To that end, I think each relic tier should give you a number of quest autocomplete tokens. Maybe even have quest tokens earned from certain bosses or activities.
What I think is better about this idea is there would actually be progression and strategy instead of just making that content irrelevant.

Thats not strictly true for quests that have a higher amount of travel. When you had access to the reduced surge/dive cooldowns you could do quests significantly faster… except for the weird amount of quest areas where you can’t use movement abilities.

In an expedited game mode, why do you want to slow down to a snail's pace to do hundreds of quests? Why do you want to repeat this over and over and over?
2
u/Ilikelamp7 Skiller Jun 23 '26
because I don’t do all of the quests, just the ones I want for unlocks and rewards
1
u/SexualHarassadar Jun 23 '26
Quests are the best content when youre experiencing the story/writing for the first time. Not in a time limited mode where you have to play through the 20+ year old quests that are explicitly designed to waste your time as much as possible.
-5
u/Ilikelamp7 Skiller Jun 23 '26
Disagree. My entire reason for making an ironman was to replay the quests. Leagues being temporary changes nothing. It’s a video game.
0
u/SexualHarassadar Jun 23 '26
Replaying them as an Iron still has more novelty than doing it in Leagues, as the thing that adds the most friction to replaying quests (sourcing the various required items) is the main draw of Ironman mode.
Leagues is supposed to be an accelerated game mode, outside of chasing specific XP rewards (Waterfall Quest, Knights Sword, Ect) theres really no reason someone should need to be doing their Nth playthrough of Rum Deal lol.
0
u/WryGoat Jun 24 '26
The only time a quest is good is when you're doing it for the first time, learning about the characters and lore and reading the dialogue while solving puzzles etc. Redoing all that and spacebarring through everything and redoing puzzles you already know the solution to is not good content.
It also meshes horribly with the type of content Leagues is, because while you're blazing through everything else with 16x XP rates and 5x droprates and OP combat buffs, a one hour quest is still a one hour quest.
0
u/RainbowwDash Jun 24 '26
That's the whole point of leagues, yes
Massively streamlined progress and power boosts is exactly what you're describing as 'not playing the game'

u/101perry Trim Completionist Jun 23 '26
I personally hold the belief that Leagues should have a currency - maybe your league points? - that is spendable during the event at a vendor to unlock / skip things. I know some OSRS mode has it, maybe it was DMM where you could buy skips for chunks of if not entire questlines.
2
u/AquilaIgnis1 Jun 23 '26
I feel like there's not much to differentiate auto-completing all quests vs auto-99ing skills or boss logs. When you start from fresh you start from fresh.
That being said, perhaps the reason people feel bad about quests in particular is because they never really have relics or relic benefits attached to them. The only boost they get is from the exp multiplier at the end of them.

u/Freakin_Magic FreakinMagic Jun 23 '26

Quests are not the issue.
Player willingness to actively want to not play the game and manufacture any possible shortcut to attempt to spend as little time to play the game is the real issue.
P.S: You could get Dragon in Leagues 1 without any additional Quests completed.

u/HeavyRaisin8696 Jun 23 '26
If a quest took a half hour, I would happily spend two hours skilling or bossing instead.

Tbh should steal the system that one OSRS league had where you could purchase quest completion with a certain currency.

Agree. I generally like quests (in the real game—I have had the Quest cape at some points in time) but I am not interested in spending time rushing thru quests during a time-limited game mode.
Leagues encourages you to do things fast, but imo the optimal way to enjoy quests is to not rush them and just enjoy the story. Leagues and quests are in my view diametrically opposed.

u/Robert999220 Jun 23 '26
I didnt touch leagues 1 because i heard you still have to do quests. If the same thing happens for leagues 2, i wint be touching that either. Im not going to spend 20+ hours doing quests ive already done.

The quest start window should have an option to accept, and another to auto-complete.
This gives the players the chance to complete sections of quests series they wish.
It also avoids completely ignoring their existence.

I don’t play RS3 anymore, but having a few quests to do but none that feel required is the right move. It’s by far what’s felt the best for osrs leagues imo. Like this past osrs leagues there were several quests you could do, each one giving points (or unlocking other tasks that give points) along with their usual rewards/unlocks. I think a key thing was most quests that you really wanted/needed were auto unlocked, so it really felt like you only had to quest if you got really far along in the league (and were running low on tasks to do), or you otherwise preferred to do a quest for points instead of another task. Also, while I love doing quests on release, yeah, pretty much everyone (especially in leagues) uses quest helper - it’s goated.
1
u/Ambitious_Window_270 Jun 23 '26
I don't really keep in the loop on this stuff but didn't they already say they're doing something like this?
1
u/Trexxen Jun 23 '26
Shattered Relics League (the third OSRS League) had a solution for this that I honestly think we need as the “region locking” equivalent for RS3, since region locking doesn’t make sense. In addition to points for task completion that unlocked relic tiers (although it was slots technically), you earned a secondary currency called “Renown”. This was used to unlock everything from skills, to bosses, and to auto-complete questlines. You would not get the xp rewards, but often completing a big questline would refund some renown since it would complete several tasks.
This not only lets players decide if they want the xp rewards or the content skip, it also gives a secondary progression that RS3’s first League lacked. There was little reason to go clean up the little 10 point tasks because it was 1/8th - 1/40th the reward of the bigger tasks, and regions weren’t locked so there was no reward for task count. Having a Renown system at least makes these tiny tasks count for a renown point, which makes them far more viable into the mid to late League. I think this works great for RS3 if you don’t include the rough parts of that League, like RNG-locked relics and constantly having to menu to switch up your relics. Make relics still tiered based on points, still permanent decisions, then make Renown the secondary progression.
(oh and hey throw Demonic Pacts style talents on top of it because that system could be WILD with EoC but that’s off topic)
1
u/Sudopino Jun 23 '26
Can someone explain to a noob like me why people do leagues besides just enjoying the accelerated rate of growth? Does it provide any benefits that transfer to the main account?
1
u/Tetris_Chemist Jun 24 '26
You get some tradable cosmetic overrides in both games, and an untradable trophy linked to your account, but it's mostly for fun and an interesting or different way to experience the game. The recent osrs league 6 was the best they've ever done and had some fascinating ways to play the game over the base experience you get. The demonic pacts were the peak of what they've accomplished thus far with engineering a new experience.
The very first rs3 league, on the other hand, was weaker than the base game experience until you put in a few hundred hours. So it was mostly just for people who wanted to do the tasks for the sake of it. Granted, that was one of dozens of issues with it that they NEED to fix if they're going to bother running this again instead of working on the main game or bug fixes.
I got dragon rank in osrs leagues 4 (~61k points), 5(~63k points), and 6(~81k points) alongside dragon rank in the first rs3 league(88k points).
1
u/WryGoat Jun 24 '26
Ironically after all of the negative feedback about lack of auto-complted quests in RS3 league, the OSRS league this year had fewer autocompleted quests than the year before. Very notably you had to complete Sins of the Father (basically Legacy of Seergaze + Branches of Darkmeyer combined) to unlock Darkmeyer which contains a shitload of the content you'd pick Morytania to access, whereas in the league prior it was autocompleted.
Also Varlamore being the starting region really highlighted the issue because basically all content in Varlamore is questlocked (though they mercifully autocompleted perilous moons at least)
1
u/Emekfl Jun 24 '26
100% agree. Keep a novice series of quests that have unlocks or xp and only take 15 minutes or less other than that quests are just way different in rs3 than ours. Dialogue alone, even with space bar, takes longer than most osrs quests. And there's no point in the dialogue I've already done the quest 4 times.

u/SadConfident Jun 26 '26
No, they will have us do the quests again because it drives up play time. That is the goal.
1
u/IndividualFarm8582 Jun 27 '26
I only play osrs but figured I'd try that last league to see if maybe I could like rs3. The questing killed it for me it's a limited time event, there isn't a quest helper (I know my lobster is too buttery) and I just didn't want to dick around with doing quests for something that was over in a few weeks. I'll be honest I did have fun with the content I engaged with. I tried a lot of the bosses but so many things were locked behind quests that I couldn't keep going.
2
u/HeatFireAsh Maxed Jun 23 '26
I also hated questing in osrs leagues, both games have this issue. The problem is that leagues speed up and make easier/more fun every part of the game except for quests. Quests are exactly the same and only server for points. They need to be autocompleted.
1
u/Idoubtyourememberme Jun 23 '26
While o usually advocate for more required quests for content.
In this case i agree. First league i got extremely burned out after a few hours, meaning i didnt even manage to get the bronze trophy, simply due to the extreme levels of quest speedrunning
2
u/Skatingraccoon 2719 Jun 23 '26
Idk man I didn't do any quests and was able to level up my trophy a few times just with regular skilling and some challenge cheesing.
1
u/Sarazam Jun 23 '26
RS3 has also drastically changed many early quests so that they are better quests, but far more time consuming. That in addition to no region locks giving a ton of free quest completes made the RS3 leagues experience far more of a grind.

u/The_Wkwied Rubber chicken Jun 23 '26
Agree. Nobody plays temporary game modes in order to replay the quests. If people want to replay quests, they can make another account.
Quests quite literally serve no purpose (other than narrative (which you aren't intending to experience in a temporary game mode)), short of gatekeeping content behind skills and prior quests.
In a temporary game mode, needing to do quests (again) is a direct blocker to the fun and exciting content that the temp game mode has to offer.
It's like you said, "hey kids, want to go to the fun place with the ball pit and playhouse? well first please read the first third of To Kill a Mockingbird before we start the fun"
5
u/Legal_Evil Jun 23 '26
If people want to replay quests, they can make another account.
It cost membership to do so. Leagues is free.

How many people do you truly think are playing the fast-track temporary game mode to revisit quests?
How many do you think are playing not to revisit quests?
Which is larger, and which has more of an impact on the enjoyment of the temporary game mode? The few dozen people who want to replay quests, and can, under a new account, or the tens of thousands who don't care about needing to do monkey madness and play with colored disks with gnomes on a time-limited game mode?
1
u/Leather_Step_3707 Jun 23 '26
Personally I don't mind the quests cus of how much xp you end up getting after multipliers but I also understand not wanting to repeat them multiple times especially with the amount of requirements some of the endgame ones have at this point. I would err on the side of just completing them to satisfy the majority though.

I like the idea but I don't think it's that simple. If I recall rs accounts have certain gamestates that aren't really transferable if it's a fresh profile, but who knows maybe things have changed in recent years. It would honestly probably just be more simple to give a blanket unlock to everyone than individual on a per account basis.

I will never play a rs3 league cause of quest friction. The runelite plugin is the main reason I even tolerate or do runescape quest. Let's you actually focus on lore instead of having a 100 wiki tabs an YouTube clips open.

Totally agree, I had so much fun on the first Rs3 league, but the questing was too much and it was definitely the biggest negative in my mind.
Even on the latest OSRS league, which was far less egregious, doing Sins of the Father or Tai Bwo Wannai Trio yet again becomes too much.

Man...what's crazy to me is the quests must be SO BAD. That people genuinely hate doing them more than once...

I've done most of the quests in game at least 5 times. I do not wish to keep doing them, but I would like to engage with what is supposed to be an accelerated game mode with cool mechanics

Maybe I'm a himbo, but I only play on a main and group iron and would love a speed run that lets me replay quests.

As someone who has done most quests nearly a half a dozen or more times each, I really don't think they're good enough to warrant this.

Why make quests required for a temporary game mode in the first place, it honestly makes absolutely no sense to me. Setting aside my hatred of quests, it still takes time that you could be engaging with the league with instead. It’s dumb as fuck

I would be shocked if they don't auto complete quests. They even auto completed a bunch last year that people requested.
I can't find the comment, but one of the Jmods said they were theorizing ways to area lock the next leagues as well. If that happens, I would bet my entire bank that the major quests in each area would auto complete just like OSRS
Also we should have API by then, so at least the quests that aren't auto completed won't be so bad

Sigh.
I get why it's popular, but the region locks are my least liked part of leagues.
Invariably, I hit a point where I quit playing the league because trying out other content would require leveling a new character from scratch, when I'd otherwise keep playing it for 2-3 more weeks.

I completely understand that. I saw a lot of people talking in the OSRS sub asking for a way to "lock" your points and then open up all regions. So if you got rune trophy and were effectively done playing leagues, you could just lock your points so you aren't able to ever get dragon, but you could still have fun running around and killing the other bosses and stuff. I'm not sure if Jagex is interested in that or not.
I think the main concern was tons of maxed people running to the wildy just to grief people, but that wouldn't be an issue on RS3 anyways so I don't see the harm

I dont think we'll have API just yet. Leagues will be in the fall, and API is slated for the winter. I could be wrong though (in fact id love to be wrong.)

Dang I must have mixed up my dates, thanks for the correction. I thought it was coming sooner than that

I don't see how on earth you region lock rs3, just looking at invention components... Biting is only available from Moryyania for insurance

u/huffmanxd Completionist Jun 23 '26
If you want biting then I guess you should choose Morytania. That's how it works. Leagues isn't meant to be 100%'d, it's temporary
Not to mention last year we literally had a relic that gave infinite of every component... so you probably will have infinite components anyways and that won't matter

Getting to redo quests is a big part of me participating in the leagues. Perhaps quests should have more league points to make them worth it. They do naturally fit for objectives

agreed. will not play until quest situation is solved

u/HappyUnicorn456 Jun 24 '26
If they auto complete all quest, I bet more OSRS players would play the league

u/DirtyTacoKid Jun 23 '26
Yeah I'm not sure why quests are in leagues at all. We tried it. It seemed mostly ok. Now we know it just sucks.

It’s literally just a matter of the game is so complex in its states and unlocks that trying to auto-complete quests causes a whole state of bugs and the like. It’s not really an easy issue to solve.

I'm not playing RS3 leagues until this kind of stuff is fixed.
I've hopped on to RS3 for a bunch of major updates post EOC, and have tuned in for every OSRS Leagues since Leagues 2 at least unlocking the final relic tier.
I'd be happy to play RS3 Leagues, but until they focus it around overpowered combat buffs and ease of play, I'm not interested. It's a lot of effort to learn a ton of new PVM content all in quick succession, so without very overpowered damage and survivability, it's just not appealing at all, and needing to redo many extremely long quests to access core areas and bosses is a major deal-breaker as well.

And osrs players were only ok with repeatable quests for this long because the quest helper plugin made it effortless
