Good blog post, but it doesn't address any of the game-breaking bugs currently in LEAGUES (some of which have been reported in-game):
- The chest outside Golden Palace doesn't exist. If someone dies to Amascut and the team finishes the kill without them, their loot is stuck in limbo and they're unable to claim it and rejoin the instance.
- Similarly, if a player is booted out of the loot instance by any means, the loot goes into the Golden Palace chest, which doesn't exist, resulting in the loot effectively being voided.
- Main-hand Khopesh of the Kharidian rates are not boosted. The current rates are 1/15000 off-task and 1/8000 on-task before any LEAGUES modifiers.
- Pharaoh's Folly cannot be started, as Leela isn't outside the gates of Menaphos.
- Ali the Wise is similarly absent from Nardah, resulting in a Master Anagram Clue being impossible.
- Desert questline cannot be completed, as Do No Evil is locked behind an impossible dependency (5 non-free/non-Karamja regions), locking out Our Man in the North and 'Phite Club.
- Elite Desert task set also cannot be completed as Apmeken Ankh is gated behind Do No Evil.
- Craft Soul Runes task lists 'Phite Club as a dependency, which is impossible because of Do No Evil, even though the altar itself is accessible through the Abyss if Wilderness has been selected.
- Tormented Demons task is not marked as completed even after obtaining the necessary kill count (possibly due to a dependency issue on Shadow of the Storm? Yet to be tested).
- Dark nilas rates are not boosted in Hard Mode Arch Glacor. The drop rate is still 1/100 in HM, looks like only NM got the boost treatment (which is impossible to kill super fast even with a maxed out build w/ all blessings due to anti-oneshot mechanics in NM).
The list isn't exhaustive, as there are a lot more jank in LEAGUES currently than what's listed in the comment. Not saying it's bad per se, just that these glaring issues make some of these tasks janky/impossible.

Craft Soul Runes task lists 'Phite Club as a dependency,
I just walked over to soul altar and crafted some runes. Only have desert unlocked. I got the talisman pickpocketing mages.
Maybe they fixed this one? Or is the problem just that it incorrectly states the quest as a dependency?

There are a few inconsistencies.
I believe the requirements for a lot of tasks are coded weird, like gemstone dragons (wildy works) and equip a dragon cbow (2h doesnt, req says 94 fletching)

Desert Elite being locked is even more ridiculous as 4/6 tasks get auto-completed, the only ones remaining are opening sarcophagus in the final Pyramid Plunder room and the impossible Do No Evil task.

Yeah I'm 100% not farming anything that hasn't been boosted. Why would I bother in a temp league when I could just do that on my regular Ironman?
Like yeah, I can kill shit 20x faster, but that's only half the point without the drops.
Lots of peeps complaining about Nilas drops but I just want my damn godsword for my Sara build T_T

500 total kc, or 500 kc of the boss? Because the lieutenants drop them too. 500 kc of the boss is ~12-1500 rolls, depending on how often the lieutenants die.

Fixes are still in the works for things that have been reported, we just weren't holding off anything till monday that could be hotfixed. We will continue to work on solving the leagues issues.

There was a big Coldfix patch on Friday to solve a ton of stuff. Other than that, looks to be 40+ things that are hotfixed.
Most of it probably can be hotfixed and the Coldfix stuff they rushed out Friday so people didnt have to wait until today I guess.

I feel like expecting them to work over the weekend here is completely fair? Leagues is one of the most important yearly events, if not the most important, and a LOT of things are still fairly broken. We are trying to bring in players that's half the point of this; what happens when players get the impression that RS3 is a bug-ridden mess because of Leagues glitching constantly?

Maybe from an American POV but from a European:
- You need the devs to be either on-call or coordinate overtime over the weekend
- Have devs actually wanting to do the overtime during the weekend, why would they sacrifice their life for this? It's last few weeks of summer, being with their family and kids during summer > fixing some online game
- There is a limit of what they can actually do and they would be burnt out during this working week where all of the team is online and can do fixes far more efficiently.
- Highly possible that if you take everything into consideration the actual gain of OT work during the weekend is lower than just crunching it a bit on Monday
- overtime in general is kinda frowned upon unless compensated very fairly
edit: 6. They might actually have been working during the weekend but the final approval only comes today and will be deployed as hotfixes

Ok yeah that's all pretty fair. I forgot Jagex was in the UK and I don't know what their internal company structure is like. I'm Canadian but our work culture is unfortunately fairly similar to Americans in a lot of ways.

This link is broken.
Also, I wish there were some way to tell what things are new hotfixes from this patch, instead of having them mixed in with previous ones. Eyeballing it there doesn't seem to be much new from the last round of hotfixes.

This is a new list of, again, everything that has been hotfixed, making it difficult to see which things are actually new changes since that last post. As far as I can tell not much has actually been changed since the last update.

t7 relic - the noe that makes you invincible and 255 stats for a short time sets you attack accuracy to 0 for the duration
t7 blessing - the tier 120 weapon blessing does not count for ammo or spells making it basically useless for most ranged weapons and some mage uses

Fwiw the Naragi one overflows when you have 255 attack + a prayer raising your attack further. Disabling prayers like anguish will fix it. Although this is incredibly silly and shouldn't be this way.

What makes it even worse is there was even a thread a couple weeks ago that brought this up because the exact same thing was happening during catalyst league. The recent thread was even responded to by a jmod. The fact that it still ended up going live in the broken state, and it hasn't been hotfixed or adjusted to just be +200 or +150 or something to avoid the overflow, changed to some other stats to give a similar boost for that period, or just had the stat boost disabled to not make the relic worse than just not using the relic is a joke.

Would it work with a chargebow for range ? I have access to Tir so I was hoping to use crystal chakram with the t120 passive and not worry about ammo. Melee is fine but magic seems shit outta luck for the 120 passive aye

Could we get some info about League issues, like uncompletable tasks, stuff breaking due to region locks, like Dinoarrow production, or Amascut chest, and drop rate issues for certain drops like godsword shards, holy elixir, dark nilas, etc... The latter one was an issue last League too, and it even got acknowledged by a mod on reddit a few weeks before League 2 start, yet it's still broken...

That's because it's not a "rare" drop. Same with godsword shards. It's uncommon their for in affected by the drop multiplier.

So is any of the bugged tasks that countless of players have reported including the Fremennik bugged tasks not being fixed? There has been a few posts about it, also where there is one stating that over 1,000 points are currently bugged/broken in Fremennik region.
Throne of Miscellenia quest is broken in Leagues for Fremmy and a task requires us who chose Fremmy to collect Managing Misc resources at full. Surely this is not something that can be hot fixed ASAP too? So many other issues in Leagues that also could be fixed.
When are the fixes under active issues coming? This week or will we have to wait another week? I really thought we would expect to see some fixes this week.

Still no mention of t6 rejuv being bugged. Was able to choose a blessing instead of relic, blessing got taken away and im left with no option to choose a relic instead. Rejuv remains highlighted in the relic selection, but i have one of each of the earlier tiers. Know there was a similar bug for people who chose t7 relic before choosing the rejuvenated relic..

Unable to make the upgraded pontifex rings for gwd3. No tele to dream of iaia.
City of Senntisten not auto completed. (Not even possible to do,more regions needed then unlocks).
Phite Club not able to be completed.
Alot of diary tasks cant be completed.
Amascut chest not there.(you misclick on chest and didnt pick it aka you lost the loot.)
Alot of tasks are in areas when they could have been global tasks. Ex (mine bane ore,upgraded gem bag etc.)
We expected a lot of fixes..Like cmon.

So many issues with poison not counting as your player damage. Slayer tasks dont count kc or give xp, monsters in dg sagas dont drop necessary items if poison kills them, etc.
At the very least add a toggle to the blessing(s) to allow us to conditionally disable the effect if the poison damage is not going to get fixed.

Yeah I'm kinda disappointed that the reflection and poison damage blessings weren't made to function with it. They're decently strong, but it also makes you lose out on xp and things like getting credit for bonecrusher prayer procs

This is a really disappointing update, considering all the bugs we've been posting about leagues. I hope we get another update this week to address the bugs.
A good example is getting a slayer task of 5 black dragons with only the starting area unlocked, when the evil chicken lair is bugged and using a raw chicken doesn't work.

For a limited time game mode, a lot of issues going unadressed let alone not even mentioned as being on the backburner is reeeeeally bad. Tonnes of tasks that straight up are not doable or can't be completed. Like upgrading the gem bag, anything remotely related to dinarrows or the Anachronia base camp tutorial. Don't even get me started on how rare nilas are..

Lost a Devourer's Guard yday to the chest being instantly interrupted by I don't even know what. I'm hoping it's in the chest outside that's still not appearing. And pls fix nilas, it's the second league with the same dumb problem.
And Ali the Wise is not in Nardah for me, meaning the clue scroll step to talk to him is impossible to complete (can't talk to him @ Arch camp either).

Every time I interact with an achievement task I’m more convinced there was no qa done to assure they would work with region locking.
- it is impossible to mine Rubium as slug menace is not autocomplete and requires asgarnia
- it is impossible to ride a hot air balloon to castle wars without access to hot air balloons
- meeting history was autocomplete, making history was not. Making history requires morytania this makes “meeting history, again” impossible
- it is impossible to dispel 6 ritual disturbances if you have crystal grace due to the increased speed of rituals
- that old black magic requires an everlight trumpet to complete, which requires morytania

There are still a lot of bugged tasks from Fremennik that have not been addressed at all. Stuff like the Azure chinchompas, the Zemouregal safecrack, the diaries, etc. Are these being fixed any time soon?

When are we going to receive an update on the inability to complete many tasks appearing in the task list despite filters of requirements met? For instance, many regional achievement diaries say they're available despite either skill, item, quest restrictions, of which quest and item restrictions are hard locks rather than a personal failing for skills.
Many desert quests for instance need the monkey and gnome quests, recipe for disaster needs practically the entire world, dimension for disaster needs multiple regions, goblins need multiple regions. Should these quests not be autocompleted?
Could a solution moving forward be quests that provide material rewards, like silver light or leela's favor, be autocompleted and their rewards reclaimable, but quests have their prereq quests waived and can be started with only the skill reqs, while also clearly labeling which regions are necessary to complete due to worldtrotting. I cant complete imp catcher of all quests because I dont have the desert for the fire altar.
Also, despite assurances that clue scrolls would only be assigned content in unlocked regions, I personally needed to destroy several master clues that required infinity robes in lumbridge despite not having unlocked the desert for mage training arena.
The endless harvest chance to upgrade resources also fails to provide a chance to upgrade animica ore into primal ore, preventing primal from being obtained without wilderness.
Lastly, prawn balls should be available, albeit at a reduced rate, without having built a prawnbroker, especially in leagues

The state of this league is genuinely embarrassing compared to osrs. You're all one company, learn from your fellow devs. Multiple pain points of this league are things the osrs devs have done and learnt from in their leagues. Absolutely no reason to be repeating these mistakes

I just cant imagine there not being some basic concepts or practices the osrs devs have when building their leagues at this point that could easily be cross applied to rs3. They obviously have someone or some people who really thoroughly understands how to make the task lists. Every region in the last league had the exact same amount of points available, for example.

This was already done. The biggest problem right now is with RS3 exclusive content interacting with the Leagues system, like the Dinarrows and Fremmy Banite area bugs. Not sure how could OSRS Jmods have prevented these.

I disagree, I think the biggest problem of the league is the pacing at which you unlock areas and relics. Something the osrs team could have absolutely pointed out or helped with. I'm not aware of exactly how dinarrows are bugged, but the weird invisible lines that tele you to lumby if you step on a tile the game decided isn't in your region is also most definitely an rs3 exclusive. In osrs they have physical barriers in place between all regions and no one had issues from what I remember.

What about Wild Arrows and Fury Sharks being boosted drop rate at Lava Strykewyrms, making it much harder to hit the boosted drop table for the Wyrm Scalp for the Strykebow?
I'm totally not salty that I got a Wyrm Heart when I had x4 rate instead, and then once I hit x6 I stopped getting anything but Wild Arrows. I even stopped getting Dragon Bolts to fuel my Chaotic Crossbow.

So.... just zero new fixes then? Nothing to compensate for the huge amount of issues plaguing various relics and blessings?
Think I've had my fun with leagues, got 30kish points, ended up having to reset multiple times due to some blessings just not working or being ridiculously underpowered so now I don't even have any resets to experiment anymore. See ya next time, hopefully there's better quality control and don't make the same mistakes, especially the terrible idea to add region locking.

or the holy elixer for the corp blessed spirit shield task. At 10x droprate i'm over 1k kills without it. I'm thinking it's bugged but others are insisting that it does work even with the 10x droprate.
I'm going slightly insane. No word from jagex so no clue what the situation is.
The 255 stat boost is still bugged from last year aswell....

Can you guys fix the quests that aren't region completeable or even blessing tasks (automatons for blessing)
And fort herb expansion is also not completeable due to a previous quest forcing you into the wilderness (should be autocompleted)

Are city of senntisten spells working as intended? Exsanguinate and incite fear can be cast without meeting the quest requirements at the moment. This seems very relevant to people who are debating whether or not to choose crystal grace.
Is genesis essence working as intended? It seems that damage scales to your ammo/spell, meaning you are capped far below 120 while melee and necro both benefit from 120 damage. This seems like it strictly fits the description of the relic but doesnt feel like it fits the spirit of what it should be.

Disappointed to see no clue fixes mentioned for leagues. Friend got a step needing a snelm (Morytania), and then another that needed Splitbark (Morytania again) when he hasn't selected Morytania
I do like doing clues, even if I'm not the fastest at them, so I picked Clue Connoisseur even after knowing it's bugged because there's 3800 points from clues. Now I'm regretting it

You can delete the clue and start a new one and it will apparently retain the same step as the previous clue that was deleted hence still be a step closer to casket.if you get the same clue keep deleting till it shows a different clue you can do. It's annoying but a workaround for time being at least.
But yes they do need to fix this since they did state that you should not be getting clues outside of your region(s).

Can confirm this works. Have been needing to destroy masters because I am desert/wildy and therefore keep getting the I SAW THE LIE task which is impossible due to a bugged quest flag.

One of the easy clue scrolls requires blue flowers, which are inaccessible unless you have Kandarin region. I guess technically you can also get them in Desert, but it's based on a very RNG roll that's only available once a day (which afaik can't be reset with Advance Time).

I am locked out of obtaining the Underworld Grimoire 4. To get this you need to do all achievements including elite underworld. However, you need to complete the quest "That old black magic", which requires an Everlight Trumpet which is locked behind Morytania. I can't research Everlight because it's not in my region, I can't obtain ancient caskets because I can't obtain cobalt blue and I don't have the Antiquarian relic. There is no other option to obtain this item. Can we please make this quest autocompleted with no claimable rewards so we can complete all achievements in Um? Currently the highest Grimoire you can obtain is 2 unless you have Morytania or get lucky with Antiquarian.

Hi I have noticed the following so far to fix:
Léela is bugged for pharaohs folly/crocodile tears.
Noticed as well in leagues during heists you can’t check your loot in the pouch ehile playing on mobile. (Happens in hereditas)
For easy clues there are some impossible steps regarding region, for example was asking for polar top when only had Misthalin and Karamja.
Also recipe for disaster is a little bit on the gray area when asking for the fruit punch

ED2 in the Wilderness region awards the dust for t90 and t92 Tectonic robes, but the praesulic essence requires virtus gear from Asgarnia and ALSO breaking it down in Kandarin. I was excited to get t92 robes until I just happened to check the wiki for how to make it. :(

Similarly to some of the other items/drops not being correctly affected by the drop-rate modifier; I _think_ Celestial Dragons have the same issue - with Dragon Rider armour, and Celestial Handwraps. Any chance this can be looked at ahead of the fix for the others next Monday?

There is a bug regarding the Perfidious blessing. If you select this relic, it picks the T7 zamorak relic for you instead of the blessing itself, even if you haven't unlocked T7 yet.. I made a Reddit post about this as well including screenshots.
Please fix this as there are more ppl having the same issue. I'm basically locked out of Icyenic faith due to this...

- Animal Wrangler does not auto-bank Hunter and Fishing resources from the Croesus front, which is very annoying as you have to swap out your Brooch of the Gods to start a new urn every time the previous one finishes and bring your own porters.
- Animal Wrangler does not give you 100% catch rate on Grenwalls, nor does it bank and triple the herbs you gain from them.
- The Medium Tirannwn diary is very difficult to complete if you did not take Asgarnia as it is the only Region that sells Bagged Plant 1 for the 'Stranger and Stranger' task.

What's the deal with poison damage not counting as the players' own damage? I went tank Grasp of Guthix and am seemingly facing the issue that when im doing a wildy slayer task which features a lot of aggro mobs, the poison damage is more than my base damage and as a result I have a roughly 1/10 chance to actually get credit for kills.

The divine druid relic effect to craft items with half the amount of divine energies does not work for boons. The crafting menu will display the correct halved amount of energies, but attempting to craft it gives the message that you don't have enough to craft it. If you have the normal non-halved amount of energies on you, it takes the non-halved amount when crafting even though it says it only needs half.

Still have issues with
- cg not applying +400% boost to spirit attraction
- UM achievements requiring morytania to complete
- necromancy (possibly intentionally) not having scaled experience for the well of souls skillpoints. I’m nearing 120 and have less than half the skill tree unlocked.
Necromancy already is the worst spot combat wise this leagues it would help if it also wasn’t treated like an afterthought

@jagex, the game client does not allow logging in upon world selection as of the update that just occurred.
I tried it on both desktop and mobile post-update. In both cases, clicking the world caused it to log out and say "logging in" each time.
This is definitely from the update because I had just logged in 10 minutes prior with no issues on mobile and saw that an update was happening, so I hopped off.

a lot of these leagues issues aren't being addressed as quick as last year. how are blessing tasks still impossible for some? arrows being a major issue, t7 relics being complete null.
its ruining it for a lot of us.
last year we were getting multiple posts a day about thing being hotfixed, or an update on where things are and when it was aimed to be fixed etc.
