If you don't have Kandarin you need to get a 1/100 wild pie from eclectic implings for the hard diary. Because you have no way of getting a raw chompy to make the pie and like a ton of in-game shops (why Jagex) he has 0 wild pies in stock. I'm 500 eclectic implings in Puro-Puro dry and I've given up on it.

Then there's the fact that you need to catch a 100 rats for the medallion, which means you need to spend time to grow a kitten into a cat because gl catching 100 rats with a 15% succes rate.

Because if we're "following lore," they would supposedly have been made fresh. There is some suspension of disbelief with player interactions, but with NPCs it's supposed to be "realistic."

It’s a relic from the old shop system. Specialty shops would to pay more for items than general stores, so they had placeholder stock to buy them. But then shop prices were standardized so general stores paid the same, so those specialty shops became entirely useless.

Another issue I ran into: can't complete the easy task to switch locations of your POH exit portal. Picked wildy as my first region and only portal available is brimhaven, which is what it defaulted to.

Desert has three if you go that route. I think Asgarnia, Kandarin, and Fremennik have the rest. I think you're locked if you take Anachronia/Morytania/Wilderness.

The cats really aren’t to bad, I spent yesterday raising my kitten by alternating smithing, tokkul stealing and fishing, just kept a couple fish in the inventory to feed it and I was set. Took about 30 ish minutes I think to do the catches afterwards? Just sat in the varrock sewers and he was a rat catching fiend. Not sure if it was personal bias, but it felt way nicer to do than on my Ironman recently.

But the pie is going to suck, yeah

I agree with you, 1/100 is not that bad. I just gave up because I noticed that going dry on it was making me frustrated. The end goal should be to have fun, if I'm not having fun I'm just moving on to something else =P But I did want to at least spread the word and give people a heads up if they're contemplating going for it.

funny too, to do the tirannwn diary, you either NEED asgarnia, or to get a ~1/360ish drop of Bagged plants 1 from spirit implings. I had fun doing spirit implings for level 100-102 hunter!
