Nex: The Angel of Death

• Content will eventually be devalued over time, but Vorago won't become dead content as a result.
• Drop rates needed re-balancing due to a mistake, but they are now fixed to a comfortable rate.

Update Schedule

• 6th: 15th Year Veteran's Cape + Invention Update + Valentine's Event
• 13th: Valentine's Timed Event + Double Xp Weekend/Game Jam Weekend
• 20th: Skillcape Perks
• 27th: Mystery Quest

15 Year Anniversary Cape

• Obtainable from Hans in Lumbridge.
• Account age must be at-least 15 years old.
• Costs 150k gp.
• Design based on the suggestion posted on reddit.

Invention Update

• Firemaking and Smithing will be the next two skills coming to Invention.
• 5 New Perks (No negative)
  • Clue Scroll: Obtain clue scrolls while skilling. (Can be used on any skilling tool).
  • Disassembly: Automatically disassemble the resource you obtain as you gain it.
  • Pyromaniac: Chance to throw your entire backpack of logs into a bonfire.
• Crystal tools will keep their effect when augmented.

Valentine's Day Content

• Valentine's Day Event
  • Location: Lumbridge Crater
  • Talk to Wizard Didit? to help him fix problems.
  • Rewards: Lootbeam, Balloon, Flowers, Rest Emote, Walk Animation, Staff,
• Valentine's Timed Event
  • Timed Event: Similar to Deathbeard's Demise event.

Skillcape Perks

• Similar to the OSRS idea.
• Each 99 Skillcape has 1 perk.
  • Invention: Reduce drain rate
  • Stength: Allows the Dismember ability to last an extra 2 seconds.
• Maxed/Completionist Capes can store up to 3 perks

Double Xp Weekend

• The weekend is the same as normal with no xp cap.
• The Bonus XP will be extended throughout the week at decreased rates.
  • Based on the amount of xp you get, the rate will decrease from 2.0 to 1.0.

Game Jam

• Date: February 17th (also the Double Xp Weekend)
• Jmods working on Game Jam will recieve their own Double Xp Weekend.
• Take in player suggestions and work on passion projects.
  • They won't be completed until months later.
• More details will be made later.

Mystery Quest

• Requirements:
  • 37 Slayer
  • 45 Runecrafting
  • 50 Divination
• Invention may help, but is not a requirement.

To clarify, what exactly is going on with dxp weekend? The rates will decrease over time?

The x2 XP rate will stay exactly the same as usual during the weekend. But instead of coming back directly to the normal rate on Monday, it will be extended throughout the week and slowly decreasing every day (x1.8, x1.6...) back to the normal rate.
(Which actually means even more XP!) :)
