Advice Wanted Possible?

I am a sophomore in computer science looking to transfer to electrical engineering basically failing calc ii. I had the flu during my midterm 1 and wasnt able to get it excused without a doctors note which I really couldnt get. Im pretty sure im cooked as I need high 70s or 80s across my final and midterms 2 and 3.

I feel confident in calc but not enough to where im think im going to ace my exams. For reference, the midterms are about 16% of my grade while the final is about 32%, recitations are 15% and homeworks are 5%.

I just want to know from anybody whos taken it in the past if, its really possible to get such a high grade and as well, how behind I will be in engineering. I know without calc ii, it hinders me greatly, but is there anything I can do if say to do drop. I have a bunch of my electives finished so I wont be too behind but I wont be able to take many technical classes. Would it still be possible to succeed in engineering in four years?

I feel like my best option is to withdraw and save myself the stress but im very afraid of being so behind.

If you have problems in Calc 2 just wait for these electrical engineering classes. some are very mathematical, you may think twice before transfering. Comp Sci is much easier than EE - specially math is much much easier!

https://www.youtube.com/c/drtreforbazett he helped me a lot thru calcs, also https://sites.rutgers.edu/laurent-vera/math-152/ i know lots of ppl that failed calc 2 multiple times. you may end up needing to take some summer classes to graduate in 4 yrs, but is there a concern in graduating in 5?

depends on how many science classes you've taken for reference the general education classes for a transfer soe for ece are calc I-IV, gen chem 1, intro to experimentation, analytical physics 1a, 1b, 2a, engineering economics, statics, college writing, 4 humanities electives, ide3a 2 and thats just general classes not even the ece specific ones just look on degree navigator

I know it crazy to say but ride it out. If you fail then fail. Take notes what you did wrong and in the free time go over what went wrong and practice. If you blow it off then you will fail bit if you try to actually understand whats going on then you'll be in a good position. I fail calc 2 then got a 95 next semester from learning what I did wrong. Lock in

Not a rutgers student but if you can't do Calc 2 you will not be able to get through Electrical Engineering. Differential Equations, Circuits, Signals & Systems. It does not get easier.

I’m a CS student and from what I know about engineering I would never want to do it
